come to bed. don't make me sleep aloneCOULDN'T HIDE THE EMPTINESS you let it show. never wanted it to be so cold. just didn't drink enough to tell me you loved me Really - with the party - she regretted the thought of it the moment she realized she had fifty plus people coming. Her house and pool could hold it - easily, but she still worried if two guys would be enough, therefore she got two more, and had four. Simple, right? Wrong, once she made sure the caterer had everything made or was finishing it up for tonight, Jynx collapsed onto her couch, and eyed Hank and Roxy who were eying her curiously, and she shook her head, "You two are staying with Danny tonight at their villa....same with Quinn and Felix."
Roxy padded up to her owner quietly and licked her dangling hand softly, the blonde gave her a look and laughed, "No, no, you're going." She personally didn't want any of her pets to get harmed during the duration of this party. Running a hand through her un-brushed hair, she pulled out her over-used iPhone and checked the time, it was half-past 12 in the morning, her party was scheduled to start at 9:00 p.m. and she'd gone to bed at 3, gotten up at 7. Curling up on the low couch in the music room with her piano, the blonde nudged away her dogs, Felix curling up with her as she allowed herself to fall asleep for awhile. Letting worries of the party drift away, her eyelids fluttered shut and her iPhone went quiet, as did the whole house for a solid five and a half hours. Stirring, she jerked up as she heard the doorbell ring, groaning, blue eyes looked towards the door to exit the room, down the halls and to the front door. Scrambling up, a cat in her arms, which happened to be Quinn, Jynx checked, she was wearing short shorts and a tank-top, not the most stylish, but hey - she'd change before the party. At the door was the bartender with a load of drinks. Arching an eyebrow, she grinned and checked her time, putting Quinn down before letting him inside, and spoke, "Thanks again for doing this, I presume my dad already paid?" Feeling the guy's eyes linger on her slightly, she cringed, why? She wasn't all that curvy anyway, not as much as some girls anyway, feeling awkwardly tall, being 5'10" almost, and this guy probably around 5'11", Jynx let him set up the bar in the kitchen then out near the pool where she had asked him to be. Cursing, she called her dad, "Hey, yeah....I took a longer nap than I originally thought, can you come get the dogs and cats please?" she could hear him sigh on the other end, though he complied, she beamed, "Thanks Dad!" was she a daddy's girl? Most likely, but was she spoiled, hell no. Half of the things in the house she had to work for - especially for her piano and her Charger as well. Blue eyes flickered towards the pool, which she'd cleaned yesterday as well as changed the filter for the hot tub next to the pool, closing the door to her spa room as well as to the room with her piano in it, she glanced around, looking for the key, finding it, she locked them both and tucked the key under her bed. Jynx checked the time, and heard her dad appear, sliding down the stairs practically, she hugged him, thanking him and calling Roxy and Hank. Quinn was the trouble cat, Felix eagerly came when she opened a bag of cat food to lure them both out. Finally, after some coaxing and hunting, Jynx and Jasper found the Egyptian Mau under the couch. Sighing heavily, Jynx then spun as she locked her door, the caterer arrived then, and placed the food plates about the bottom floor, as Jynx dismissed them, heading upstairs to finally get ready with an hour to spare. People always tended to show up early, so she had to get her butt moving. Cursing to herself, she showered, and once she got out, towel dried her hair so it would curl slightly and fall into natural waves. Tripping over her suit, she cursed and placed it on her bed, before getting into her clothing for the night. Putting on matching under-wear, she blushed. Her thoughts ran wild, just the day before yesterday, she'd asked Owen out, she slid on her skinny jeans, and lo and behold, he'd said yes. Jynx practically freaked out on him then out of happiness, and somehow, Josie found out about it, probably how Owen was acting when he got back to the band house, or something. Frowning, Jynx's bubbliness rose at the thought of seeing him again tonight. She put on her shirt which flowed down on her right side slightly, the "splash" of color on it followed suit with it. A strap on her left shoulder, since it was an off-shoulder top partially, hid her bra - thankfully. Checking her hair to see if it was curling properly, she then slid on her Live, Love, Laugh braclets, and put in black and pink earrings. Some foundation, eyeliner, mascara, eyeshadow and sutff later - she was ready, with twenty minutes to spare till 9:00 p.m. Putting on her black shoes though, she jumped as she heard her doorbell ring. Wide-eyed, the blonde double-checked her hair which had waved nicely, before bounding down the stairs quickly, almost breaking a bone, as she checked on the open bar and food throughout the house. The bouncers were coming in, blending in with the crowd. At her door, was about 13 other people. Wide-eyed, Jynx stepped back as the mixture of boys and girls poured in, hugging her, whooping and the such, four guys though, nodded only to her, she knew. Her "security" was here. They were mainly to make sure no one drowned and everyone got home safely. Having taken out her colored contacts, she wore them every few days, to reveal her hazel-brown eyes, ones she personally didn't like, she adored Owen's light blue ones, they contrasted to his dark hair. Blushing deeply at this, multiple people entered, and she just left her door open, mentally thanking herself for putting away the more - fragile things and the stereo got turned up, and people began to dance all throughout the house, the lights flickering as she had managed to make them do for the party, though in a few rooms downstairs they were just dimmed. A young guy approached her, as she stood, searching for Owen or someone she knew, and he offered her a drink, "Can...can I get you something?" Eyes locked onto his, and she paused, before responding, "Actually, my boyfriend's getting me one." She didn't call Owen her boyfriend to his face, unless he wanted her to. Jynx honestly didn't know what to call him, but - she guessed that was good, wasn't it? Weren't they technically going out and were together now? Biting her bottom lip, she headed out towards her back deck and noticed some people, within thirty minutes seemed to be pretty hammered and in her pool or hot-tub. Cringing, she headed back inside and found the dance floor, waving her arms up, as she had been taught to do, dancing with a few random people, laughing with a few of her friends, all the while searching for someone from Kill the Lights or Containment, either way worked for her.[/blockquote][/blockquote] TAGS: everyone ! Alexandra&&Arren TUCKERUn-REVOCABLE Family Ties::**SMILE even when your heart is breaking..
Waking up the bouncing of her bed, Alexandra was pulled out of her Pocohantas versus Aliens dream with a violent tug. Waking up too quickly gave you this sick feeling, sending your head spinning and al of a sudden it's like the world is upside down. So Alex sat straight up, gasping in racking breaths as her sore eyes fluttered open and her hands pressed against her chest, trying to keep her pounding heart from breaking free of her chest. With a quick glance around the room Alex's head began to break through the dream stage and into her right mind. As she pressed a free hand to her forehead for a second it was the soft laugh behind her that made her spin around where she was sitting and glare at Alex. He sat there smiling at down a little at her, fully dressed for the day and everything. Glancing over at her clock for a second Alex's eyes widened as her jaw slacked.
4 o'clock!!? I did not sleep that much did I?
She turned over to stare at Arren's still pleasant features as he shrugged nonchalantly and just nodded. He was amused at watching his sister's slight panic at the time. There was something about her freaking out about little things that he found hilarious, but at least she had an excuse. She had been up into the wee hours of the morning last night talking to their father about the whole living situation and all of that important stuff that Arren just never would have understood. He had fallen asleep on the couch around midnight to talk of money and housing, but when he awoke around seven he had found her laying in their old lounge chair, phone still against her cheek as she slept soundly,so he understood her sleeping this late. Alex however sprung out of bed and raced to the bathroom...there was a party tonight after all!
As she quickly jumped into the shower to wash off the sleepiness Arren just hefted himself up from the little bed and slowly moved into the kitchen on the prowl for Cheerios, his favorite snack. It took hima few minutes to grab and pour himself a bowl of them but upon sitting down to eat his mind drifted off to thoughts of tonight too. It was only a day or two ago that him and Jynx had brough tup the pool party subject, and yesterday was when he had found out the confirmation of it from a friend down at the skatepark. He smiled down at his bowl as he thought of tonight. Jynx was one of those cool chicks that everyone just kind o loved, her being little miss sunshine and everything. Undoubtedly tons of people were going to flood the late day pool party and that only tore his thoughts from Lynx as he got excited. Parties were just his thing. There were so many people there that you could just loose yourself in everything and have fun. Be whoever you wanted.
That was when the door to the bathroom opened and closed again as Alex scurried off to her room to change. Watching her for that half second was enough to have Arren's stomach drop. Alex. Remembering the last party he had brought Alex to had bitterness build up in his stomach as he swallowed against a tightening throat. Trying to evade the memories and the feeling of dread he got up and tossed the bowl in the sink before heading outside quickly. He had to realize that the chances of that happening again were so slim with the way Alex was now that he shouldn't be worrying about anything, but still. Upon entering the parking lot Arren tugged his car keys out of a back pocket and quickly unlocked the door to the Mitsubishi MonteroSport before he climbed in. Finally sitting in the warm silence of his car Arren sighed and turned on the radio to KROQ before resting his forehead against the steering wheel and closing his eyes.
Alex didn't know how long Arren had been sitting inside the car before she came out but she rapped quickly on his window with her blue nails as she passed by to raise his head. Still moving around the car Arren glanced at her smilign face and shuddered a little, shake it off man. As she climbed into the car though an eyebrow raised in questioning as he took in what she was wearing. It was unusual to see Alex out of her tee shirt and jeans ensemble or just some random stuff thrown on, but she looked....good. Alex indeed hadn't felt excited for something in a while, with life being so hard on them lately she had barely any time to herself any more or to just live life, but this party was going to change that. There were people she was going to meet and talk to and that was what she needed the very most right now, to be around people. So she glanced over to Arren to find him just staring at her and she smiled crookedly cocking a brow.
But Arren shook his head slowly and backed out to head down the hillside towards Jynx's house. The ride to the party was conforatable, with heavy rock filling the empty space between the siblings and antisipation making them both ready to just be there. In fact it was only a couple of minutes later that the beige car slowed finally to a stop in front of the house. The consecutive sound of both of their jaws dropping was enough to make Arren blink in shock. "Hooooly Shit" If it hadn't been for the truth of the words Alex would've slapped her brother, but she could only nod. Slowly climbing out of the car they both headed up the walk to the house in awe still, how could houses this big really be used!? Alex was the first to break her stare on the house to glance about at the people who were also ushering into the house along with them. Seeing all these people had Alex smirking a little, good thing the house was huge because everyone and their cousins was here.
Walking through the door was like walking into a club. With the late day lighting and the music blasting in a heart pounding rate Arren was swept automatically into the whole feel. For a moment a blonde out with the other pulsating dancers had his attention and a slight smile lifted his lips. "Jynx!" It was silly of him to shout but he had the chance to and so took it before he started walking off towards the hostess. It was only the absence of heat next to him that froze Arren for a second before he spun around panicing. Alex was standing there, her gaze soft and happy watching her brother's own smile, it was only that slight frown onhis lips that made her eyes roll, but as she was about to wave him off an hand caught her upper arm." I want to you to meet me back here every hour ok???" Bitting back a smart ass comment at his worry Alex just nodded and smiled up at him.
Go be a big dummie, I'll see you back here later
He gaze her arm a quick squeeze as he smiled before Arren spun off to walk towards where Jynx had disappeared off to. Leaving Alex standing there all alone as people passed by her. Sighing as Arren too fell away into the tides of people coming in Alex sighed a little and turned on heel to head off toward where the bar was set up with a childish smirk on her lips, oh the memory of drinking just made shivers run up her arms as she smoothly slid past the men standing around in the kitchen until she met the cool bar edge and leaned against it a little. She knew guys were giving her looks as the first girl to be up here but she merely smirked, she was use to it. A young, rather attractive bar tender strolled over and asked for her request and she just gave one of those devilish smirks of her that the world rarely saw on the usually docile girl as she said "zombie" and watched his eyebrows raise in questioning as he turned around and assembled the drink. Alexandra smiled and turned around resting again the bar and glancing about for familiar faces.
**SMILEbecause the world is your's for the taking..

To say that Owen was happy would be sort of like saying that the sun was large. Maybe not quite on that scale, but it wasn’t too much of a stretch. Ecstatic was probably a better description of his current state. And, yes, it was a bit unusual for him to be this happy. He had pretty much scared Josie half to death when he got back to the band house the day before yesterday, simply from his attitude. It was explainable, though. Yes, Jynx had asked him out. He had been extremely surprised, actually, but eventually was able to say yes without dying of shock. And no, he wasn’t exaggerating that much. So, yes. Owen was happy. Maybe it would wear off after they had been dating longer, but he had a feeling it wouldn’t. Then again, he didn’t want it to. So he was looking forward to the party at Jynx’s house tonight. He winced as he stood up from the side of his bed, remembering the last time Jynx had a party, and shook his head. That wasn’t going to happen again. There was no way he would get drunk again. Hell no. He would have Jynx there, after all, and that alone should be enough.
It was nearly ten in the morning before Owen got around to checking the time. God, he had gotten up late. Well, only an hour or so, but it was still a bit late. He would have to hurry if he was going to do anything before the rest of the band woke up, he thought with a slight sigh. After a few moments of contemplation, he walked into Chris’s room, hardly even needing a second to find the phone sitting beside his bed. Silently snickering, he picked up the bassist’s precious cell phone and made his way into Josie’s room, where he placed the phone on a nightstand beside her bed. Immediately exiting the room, Owen grabbed a bottle of water from the refrigerator and climbed into his car. No, it hadn’t been that good of a prank, but it was the best he could do in a matter of minutes, as he didn’t know how soon either would be waking up. And he didn’t want either to be excessively pissed at him, either. Not after Josie and he were finally back on speaking terms. He doubted she would sink as low as to slash his tires again, but with Josie, who knew? And he was not going to pay three hundred dollars for a joke again. No freaking way. Even considering that saying something like that in front of a cafeteria of people was a bit extreme for a joke…God, Josie. You can get fined for shit like slashing tires. Sighing, he shook his head before pulling out of the garage. He was just glad they had both made up. A pissed Josie is not a pleasant person.
The band’s fridge had been almost empty again, as always, and Owen didn’t particularly want to eat fast food for breakfast, so he figured he would just skip. He wasn’t hungry anyway. Turning onto the road closest to the cliffs, he parked the car a fair distance away from the actual cliffs. He needed to walk, anyway, and he hadn’t been up here since the day before yesterday, and it had been even longer since he had been here alone. Shoving his iPod and cell phone into his pocket, the car door locking behind him as he started the walk up to the cliffs. It was only a few minutes onto the path before he tripped over a rock, arm shooting up instinctively to reach for a low overhanging tree branch. Thankfully he was able to steady himself before falling on his face, mentally breathing a sigh of relief at the assuring fact that he had been alone. Granted most people knew how uncoordinated he was, but it was still embarrassing at times.
The trees lessened a bit as Owen looked up at the end of the path, out to the cliffs. Taking the few final steps up until he could overlook the ocean, a soft sigh escaped his lips. God, it was good to be up here. Even so, he couldn’t help thinking as he sat down on a huge rock that it almost seemed more…empty, lonely. Amazing, but forlorn, and it wasn’t too long until he turned on his iPod, something he rarely did here anymore. It was better to be here with someone else, and that was a bit saddening. He used to love being at the cliffs alone. Sighing, he drew his legs up, wrapping his arms around his knees. Yes, he looked like a freaking little kid, but no one was here, so why did it matter? He had only been at there for an hour or so before he started the hike back down, driving back to the band house. He’d rather be at the cliffs with Jynx, he mused, now that he knew what he was missing out on.
The time had passed quickly after he got back to the house. It was now shortly after nine, and he was hurrying up towards Jynx’s house, cursing himself for being such an idiot. After changing for the party, he had forgotten his phone on the way out of the house, causing him to be late, as he now was. It was also just occurring to him how many people Jynx had invited to this party when he walked into the door. There were…a lot…of people. Sighing slightly, he shook his head, reminding himself that it wouldn’t be that bad. After all, Jynx was here, and that in itself was enough to make this party enjoyable, even if parties were clearly not his thing. The drummer attempted to make his way near the dance floor where most of the people appeared to be, hoping to find Jynx, or at least one of his friends. After a minute of dodging people, he spotted the blonde on the dance floor. A grin coming over his features, Owen waded through the mass of people until he was about two feet behind Jynx. Poking her shoulder, softly, of course, he waited for her to turn around before remarking playfully, “Found you. Do I win now?” Pausing, his voice took on a slightly more apologetic tone, “Sorry, I was kind of late.” This really wasn’t that bad, he thought, inwardly breathing a sigh of relief. He was here with Jynx, the band and friends probably somewhere around here – it appeared the whole island was – so he didn’t have trouble believing this would actually be a fun party. “Do you want something to drink, Jay?”

Phineas Andrew Lee ! We're all gonna swim, so give me a high five! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Picture this. A white sandy beach with almost no one on it. there are two palm trees stretched a medum sized distance from one another. In between there’s a hammock. And in the hammock there’s a blonde boy. You can tell that he’s older but he still retains a somewhat youthful look. He’s sleeping peacefully, with his hands folded lightly over his stomach. And then BAM.
Phineas woke with a start, gasping and coughing a bit as he did. His eyes snapped open and he looked around to try and register his surroundings. He groaned when he realized he was asleep on a friends couch. Phineas grumbled as he felt a heavy pressure on his stomach. It was only a matter of time before… “WAKE UP SLEEPING BEAUTY. WE’VE GOT SHIT TO TEAR UP.” Yeah, Dominic was an impatient asshole. Phineas had been having such a great dream too. The hammock and the peaceful atmosphere had been such a contrast to what was actually going on around him while he was asleep. Phineas had to reach forward and attempt to push the heavier boy off of his stomach. His attempts failed. But the other boy removed himself from Phin’s stomach a moment later. “Come on Finny mah boy. It’s time to skateboard you promisedddddddddd.” With his eyes still shut lightly, Phineas just nodded his head. He had promised that he’d go skateboarding when he was done with his nap. When one really thought about it Phineas was pretty much Peter Pan, and the rest of this group he spent so much time with were his lost boys. He was the eternal leader of the misfits, and he simply refused to grow up. And that was the way all of them liked it. Pulling himself up into a sitting position, Phineas couldn’t resist rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. It made him look like he was eight years old or something, but those bitches woke him up early so he was still quite tired. And then his butt vibrated. Well not of its own accord, because that just would have been awkward. And probably impossible too. Phineas pulled the vibrating iPhone out of his pocket and took a glance at the screen. Alex? It wasn’t like super rare to get texts from Alex, but normally they involved shows or stuff. Shit. He didn’t have a show tonight did he? Phineas would get such an ass beating… After Phineas had actually read the text he almost sighed with relief. Okay, they didn’t have a show. But there was a party? Oh yeah! It was being thrown by that Jynx girl who in Finny’s opinion was pretty cool. He’d obviously have to make an appearance. Phin typed up his reply quickly and shoved his phone back into his pocket. The other guys would understand. After all, this was a party and well...it was a party. Phin quickly pulled himself from the couch and stumbled a bit towards the door. He wasn’t totally awake yet. “Yo Dom. For waking my beauty up early, you have to skateboard alone today!” The other boy just looked at the drummer, but before he could say anything else Phin blew the boy a kiss and was out the door. He didn’t have time to waste talking, he had to get ready and set out. After a few minutes Phineas arrived at the Containment house. He had to push his way through a few people, but eventually he found his way up to his bedroom. It was a mess, and he probably should have cleaned it a bit before leaving. But if he did that, he would forget where everything was within seconds. And Phineas chose not to waste time cleaning. His phone was buzzing in his back pocket but he just chose to ignore it. It was just Dom being annoying and pestering him about how he wasn’t skating with them at the moment. He would probably make up some story that they did some crazy stunt after he ran off. The story wouldn’t be true, Phineas wasn’t that naïve, and Dom did it every time after all. Phineas provided their entertainment, so they couldn’t have all that great of a time without him. Some might argue that the fact that Phineas thought that was a bit conceited. But Phineas just saw himself as honest, and well he was. Well he was most of the time anyway, about the stuff he considered to be important enough to tell the truth about anyway. Despite the fact that Finny’s room looked like a bomb had gone off inside, he was ready within less than five minutes. He was a firm believer in the power of ‘organized chaos’. For him it was easier than just organized…not chaos. Within seconds, Phineas was down the carpeted stairs once more. His skateboard hung in one hand, and he could feel his pack of ahem…cigarettes in his back-pocket. Phineas never went anywhere without those, and this went double for parties. It probably wasn’t the smartest thing he had ever done, but it wasn’t often that Phineas did smart things anyway. So it was just one more thing on the list. Pausing at the bottom of the stairs, Phineas took a look around. The Containment house was pretty much empty. There were a few fans or crew members littered here and there, that were either getting ready to go out or perfectly content with where they were. Oh well, not everybody could be a party person. Hell, Phineas knew plenty of people that weren’t all that enthusiastic about parties. Phineas had actually assumed that Alex was one of those people, but she had just proved him so wrong. It was hard for Phineas to picture Alex getting completely obliterated at a party, but it was also hard to picture a lot of things that Phineas had seen. That included him in leather pants and a muscle tank, but alas he had seen that before. Sometimes Phineas could be a little quick to judge, but we all had our little faults right? Yeah, right. Phineas wasn’t all that great with directions, especially when it came to going to new places on an island that you were forced to live on. He had definitely gotten lost once or twice on the way to Jynx’s house. But thanks to his trusty iPhone he managed to make it there in one piece. There was definitely a reason that Phineas always had his phone with him. Phineas dropped his skateboard right outside the door and entered with a smile. Unfortunately his phone couldn’t navigate him around the house and direct him to the bar. So he would have to rely on instincts for that. How cool would it have been if he had like an alcohol sense? Almost like a spidey sense only cooler and more Phineas-like. After Phineas finally grew so frustrated with his search that he asked someone to point it out to him. Smiling light, Phineas thanked the young girl and she just blushed in response. But Phineas didn’t have time to flirt with the little girl; his eyes had already found Alex and the bar. Finny snuck up next to her and bent over the bar, with a smile on his features. “Hello young lady.” His voice was low and slightly creepy, but that smile just canceled out any kind of creepy vibe.[/blockquote] EVERYBODY AT THE POOL PARTY! outfit: clickeh!lyric credit: pool party - the aquabats [it was fitting =D] word count: one thousand two hundred and seventy-one! notes: ilikepoolpartiessssssssssssssssssss.[/ul]

come to bed. don't make me sleep aloneCOULDN'T HIDE THE EMPTINESS you let it show. never wanted it to be so cold. just didn't drink enough to tell me you loved me Spotting Arren and his sister, Alexandra, she smiled lightly towards them, and gave both of them a short wave, before people moved and blocked her view from them. Shaking her head, Jynx brushed her wavy hair behind her shoulders and stepped away from the dance floor and towards the pool table area, where some more people were just socializing and playing a game. Giving them the sticks, Jynx shook her head, the beginning of the party was the best - where no one was drunk enough yet to be doing anything stupid. Noticing one of the guys she'd hired to keep an eye out for things and everyone, he gave her a short, silent nod before continuing playing his pool game. Leaning on the end of the table slightly, she grinned playfully, "Five bucks says you won't make that shot."
she spoke to a guy who was acting as if he could. Giving her a once-over, he smirked, "You're on." Tilting her head, Jynx watched as the cue ball hit the 9 ball, but the ball didn't go into a pocket. Grinning, Jynx arched an eyebrow, and he groaned, handing over the five dollar bill, she spoke, sliding it back to him, "Enjoy the game, just don't get too into it, ok?" She flashed a short grin before she turned on her heel and wandered back into her house. Returning happily to the dance floor, the blonde allowed herself to be "carried" by the music, as her mother had taught her to do when she was much younger. Except for now, she was about 13 years older, another foot or so taller, and a lot less graceful than she had been when she was that old. At least she wasn't alone really, Owen tripped over nonsense too, which made her feel a little less clumsy around him, unless she tripped as well. Smiling to herself, she grinned and danced with a friend, both of them laughing as if they were back in high school together, just messing around, ignoring the boys since all they wanted was one thing. Well - about 99% of boys anyway. Spotting Arren wander off, a new friend of her's she liked, she suddenly felt someone poke her shoulder. Why didn't they just say -? She cut herself off when she turned to see Owen there on the dance floor with her, her heart jumped, and the blonde - without thinking, wrapped her arms around him, giving him an excited hug. Pulling back when he spoke, she blushed lightly, and replied, "Yes, you do." she winked, now that Owen was here, she felt like the party could officially start now. He just made it all seem so much better, like this all was worth it. Hearing some shouts of joy when they discovered her pool and hot tub, Jynx cringed slightly, then fixed her gaze on Owen, before gently taking his hand, to get them out of the dance floor crowd, "Let's get some breathing room." Once they were out, Jynx turned to Owen, feeling - odd, she didn't know, something she hadn't felt since she was back in high school and her prom date and boyfriend of a year and a half had asked her out. At his apology, she shrugged gently, and responded lightly, "Don't you worry about it, the 9 o'clock was just a...guideline." Shifting lightly, glad she hadn't worn heels, she knew her feet would've gotten tired before the night ended. Granted, she planned for the party to end around 1:30 or 2:00 a.m., depending on how fast people got drunk and started to get rowdy, then they'd have to get kicked out. Brown eyes watched Owen's light blue ones carefully, as if trying to read what was going on in his head, before catching his inquiry about if she wanted a drink. The blonde nodded quietly, tucking some hair behind her ear, hoping it would stay there, "Sure, I'd love one, what-ever you're having." she smiled weakly, and inquired, arching an eyebrow, feeling a lot more - bouncy than usual, but she blamed the party, she always got a little...louder during parties. "Want me to come with you?" She really had no idea why she was asking it, but she did anyway, in case he wanted to get the drinks by himself.[/blockquote][/blockquote] TAGS: everyone ! Alexandra&&Arren TUCKERUn-REVOCABLE Family Ties::**SMILE even when your heart is breaking..
arren::So ok it wasn't so weird to fall out of shape for partying right? After all he hadn't set foot in one since like the end of his senior year and lord knows how long ago that was for him. So it was a tad strange to have these drunk-out-of-their-minds-at-nine couples bumping into him as he smoothly walked through the crowd, or the way those girls with the shirts that were size XXsmall for them reached hands across his chest as he passed by, well that he could deal with at least. It was still off for him though, nothing like the old days of popping who knows what into your mouth and just rippin the night away whenever you could. Yet every time his mind began to wander off to alcohol or what these lovely ladies could do for him...that last party popped into his head and he shuddered. Gently pushing that girl away.
So he focused on Jynx instead. He had caught another glimpse of her light blond hair(thank goodness for being tall) and headed over in her direction. Now it was a little creepy that he was so intent on talking with her but it was just that she was hosting the party, she was one of those easy going people you love to be around, and well who else was he going to associate with her anyway other than that way hot chick bending over the... Well he pulled his mind out of the gutter right as he was beginning to reach the flat area that had been designated the "dance floor" by the crowd. It was bad enough the amount of bodies that he had to wade through to get over to one side but it became only worse with the actual smell of everything. Arren had an oversensitive sniffer and when it came to parties, man. There was sweat and booze, cologne and perfume. It really gave you the dizzying party sensation. At a sound of someone shouting "chugchugchug!" Arren turned and smiled at the little group of people.
That was how Arren accidentally stumbled upon Jynx and...Owen? At least that's what Arren though his name was, sounded right. He had just turned back around to look where he was going when he caught himself from bumping into the two heading for the door. It was a second before he realized they were exiting together and that made Arren freeze. He had better enough sense to know a couple when he saw one, and guys tended to hate other random guys talking with their girls so Arren just sighed and watched them go, so much for conversation. It was then that the little hand slid into his and Arren turned around to look down into the eyes of his pool table chick. Her light brown curls shifted over one eyes as she smiled up at him and asked for a dance. It would have been more like him to say no thanks and walk away right now, but why not? So he let the little lady lead him back into the crowd and lost himself in the sound of the music.
**SMILE alexandra:: As the first sip of the heavy rum drink slid down her throat Alex blinked rapidly a little and closed her eyes tight. It was funny at least to her that she was so out of shape in the whole drinking department. She had forgotten the stinging burn of the drinks as they settled into your stomach, how you suddenly felt your face flush hot, and most of all she had forgotten how damn GOOD it felt to drink. As Alex finished off the drink and slapped it down onto the counter with a little gasp a smile turned up her lips as a little red glow entered her cheeks. She had to wipe a hand across her lips real quick before she smiled again. It was then that she turned and caught the eyes of six or seven guys all looking at her like some kind of alien. "What a girl in heels can't have a little fun around here!?"She had to laugh at the reaction that brought about in all of them, men were such men. Good so she was a comedian now!
It was amusing for her to watch all their different reactions at what she had said, all starting out with this shock before it broke. Two of them shoved against each other's chest. One winked at her. Then they all cheered shortly. Alex was lucky that she wasn't very effected by alcohol(something to do with Indian blood) because she knew that a couple of those guys weren't cheering because they were happy to see a girl standing on her own, men were such men after all, and she knew very well a wasted girl was no where close to being safe around them. Yet she couldn't hate them even knowing this because all of her hate in the world was used up on one individual in the world who was as far from her mind tonight as anything else in the world, further even then yellow coated flying koalas....don't ask. She sighed though and ignored the little rowdy whispers going on between the guys and turned back to the still smiling bartender. His dark eyes asked a question and her blue eyes returned an answer so that another dark drink was back in front of her before words were said.
She smiled lifting the delicate glass cup to her lips before winking at the guy and having the pleasure of seeing that little raising of one brow a little in that way that dark mysterious men just had down so well. Well hell it was a party after all, what was a little playful flirting going to do. Smiling against the cold glass cup at her lips the sudden buzzing in her pocket almost made her jump before she realized it was just her phone. So setting down her drink and holding a finger up with a little smirk to her new "friend" and glanced at the screen as she pulled out the lime green phone. Phin's reply had her smiling as she quickly answered and tucked the phone away in her pocket before sighing and raising her drink back up before wincing at the strong rum again. She only half finished this one though before she set it down to relax. Her head was already pleasantly fuzzy in a way that she knew meant she wasn't going to be slurring words or doing stupid stuff, but then again wasn't going to let many men escape her full attention.“Hello young lady.” Her gaze being held by the bar tender's motions along the wall kept her from immediately noticing it was Phin but when she turned a giggle rose to her lips.
It wasn't a very Alexandra like thing to do but with a little booze and a party going on things happened. She lifted slightly onto her toes and threw her arms gently around Phineas' neck in a warm hug as she smiled neck to his neck.Phin you can earlier than I expected! Yeah it just happened like that before Alex had even thought about it. Yet she did and remembering that this was Phin she was dealing with here she "ooh"ed a little bit and quickly removed her arms from him as a wild blush broke across her face. Yeah it was one thing to wildly toss yourself at a handsome stranger at a party, but Phin? Alexandra just had this feeling that she couldn't treat him like those other guys, because she knew him and he was a friend of hers. As she lowered her eyes a little trying to extinguish the flame set to her cheeks Alex then had a thought and glanced back up. A hug wasn't such a big bad thing so why was she over-thinking it? That warm smile came back to her lips from before as she looked up at Phin before reaching over and taking a sip of her Zombie and sat it down again.
Good enough party for ya? It was simple enough but it was true. She really wondered what the infamous Phineas thought of this whole thing. She herself glanced about real quickly to find couple making out, kids in the corner with stuff you're not suppose to have and just the usual party going adventures. She had come from New Mexico though so the size of the house alone gave this party a way upper hand to anything she had ever gone to other then the crazy house boat parties. That was her though and she turned back to look at Phineas with curios light eyes, maybe this wild man wasn't pleased at all. She sighed though and finished off the last of her drink with a little wince as she glanced out toward the pool, oh how fun! Her mind was rambling though so she tore her eyes away from the sparkling blue waters and back to Phineas again. "What nice hair Phin had", she thought absently.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - And I don't know why I don’t know why I fight for you this way Fight for you this way
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Cassie wanted to get out of the house. What’s better than Jynx’s pool party? Well she didn’t know the girl, but hopefully they could be friends, so why not. She just wanted to get out. Then maybe she’ll see Arren. He was a real cutie. She was just a little scared to fall in love, right at the moment. The girl was sad about her parents just letting her go. So she didn’t want to go back anyway. Her sister was kind of why she left in the first place. The girl walked around getting every little thing she needed. Cassie rushed to the bath room, and did her make up really quick. She had to hurry, or by the time she’d get there, everyone would probably be gone. Since Cassie took forever. When she was already she screamed to Jenna. “I’m going to a pool party, be back later.” she closed the door behind her. The girl walked out to her car. As normal she was wearing black, and lime green jewelry. She just loved how black made her look good. Normally she never wore anything else, than black. It was kind of strange for Cassie. Well not really, she just liked doing things different. She put her bag in the passenger’s seat. Then closed the door. She looked in her big, black bag for her keys. When she found her keys she put them into the car, and started it. She pulled out of her drive way. Having her hand on the back of the passenger’s seat, then looked back. Her pig tail going behind her shoulder. She ignored it, she took off for Jynx’s house. Cassiedy looked around. When she saw the house, her mouth was opened. “Wow..” she said, her house was a little big. When she found a parking spot. She parked into it. She pulled her keys out of the car. Then gave them a toss, landing the keys into her purse. She looked into the mirror she fixed her black, and some white hair. When she thought it was good, she grabbed her purse, she slung the big black bag over her shoulder. The bag wasn’t that heavy. It held a towel, then water, and a few more items. She didn’t like taking her whole house with her when she went anywhere, and if she was it was mostly when she was moving. She opened the door. Then pulled herself out of the car. A few Whoots came out of some of the guys standing around. She rolled her eyes. Before Cassie shut the door she locked it. Taking a breath in, she looked through her bag, and found her semi-big sunglasses. She put them on. Walking towards the back yard, where the pool party was. She looked around, seeing who was there. Cassie was a little nervous, since she didn’t know Jynx, and how she barley knew anyone else. Who cared, Jynx probably didn’t even know everyone there too. So Cassie shrugged it off. She walked to a little area, a few people were there, but not a lot. She had got her a drink. She pulled her sunglasses off, then put them on top of her head. She looked more closely at the people that were there. Seeing better without her glasses was a good idea. Taking a sip of her drink, she held her pig tail. She didn’t liked people watching her do anything, so the girl tried to keep anything else she did down. Cassie was a little wreck. She didn’t like to be around people she didn’t know. When she was standing there, watching people talk. Then listen to some of the conversations. She really didn’t listen to everyone, it’s just there was no one to talk to her. She pulled her drink up to her mouth again. Taking another sip. She walked over to a chair, she laid her purse down beside it, keeping a good eye on it. She sat down, and then crossed her legs. With her opened hand, she started to play with her snakebites. She couldn’t shake the feeling someone was watching her. Well whoever was, they better be getting a good look, and not a bad one. She just was a little un-comfortable. So what was she going to do, or talk to. She decided to check some things on her sleek black phone. It was full key-boarded, so she could text better and faster. She put her cup down beside her pale-ish leg. It had gotten a little darker when she was tanning in her back yard, earlier this morning. Cassiedy looked through her phone, she found Jenna’s number. When did she text her. Oh when she was driving and couldn’t get to the phone. Cassie replied to Jenna, she smiled a little. Normally she wouldn’t smile, but she came to smiling more. She felt it was better to smile and not bring the person you were talking to down. So she had a smile on her face. Having no one to talk to it was kind of sad for her. She was waiting to see who would want to talk to her. If she didn’t find anyone, she might just sit and listen to the other people conversations. She could probably get some good dirt. Or just really crappy dirt. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - occ?! Whoo! =P lyrics?! Though Owen wasn’t quite sure what he had been expecting, it would suffice to say that he was a bit surprised at Jynx’s greeting. Not bad surprised, just…surprised. Which was probably why he stood there for a few seconds before realizing that she had just hugged him in front of…a lot of people. Again, he wasn’t objecting – really, he didn’t mind if people knew they were dating – but he had kind of assumed that she wanted to keep it a bit quieter than this. He must have misjudged that, then, he concluded. Mentally noting to ask her about that later, before he had a chance to respond to the embrace, she pulled back. It hit him how much of an idiot he must have looked like just standing there and he winced slightly, feeling like a jerk. At her reply, though, he grinned lightly, the…happiness, he supposed it was - as stupid as that sounded - he had been feeling for the past couple of days returning. God. It was still almost…unbelievable, maybe, that he and Jynx were actually going out. Over a year ago, after the auditions for the band, he never would have guessed that she would have been so important to him. And it wasn’t just because they were dating, either; they were best friends, too. Of course he really liked her, but it was a lot deeper than the average couple, as well. Or, that’s how he saw it. Maybe he was just an idiot or something, and that’s not how it was at all. He didn’t think so, but he had been wrong about a good number of things in his time.
Glancing over to Jynx, a bit curious as to whether or not she’d want him tagging around during the party, Owen tried not to seem so startled as she took his hand. Instead, he nodded at her mention of leaving the dance floor, timidly wrapping his fingers around hers, something he had obviously never had the courage to do before, though he knew there had been plenty of opportunities. Yes, he was a complete and utter coward at times like this. Blue eyes wandered over to Jynx, trying to decide if she minded as they stepped off of the crowded dance floor. Sighing, he told himself to stop being so insecure, though he didn’t know why he shouldn’t be. Pushing that out of his mind once he realized that they had stopped a bit farther from the dancing crowd, he let go of her hand, admittedly a bit reluctantly. It was almost all he could do to not smile at her answer to his apology. That was Jynx for you, he thought with a slight inward grin. He doubted at times that she ever got mad, and it wasn’t just at him. That must have been why it seemed like most, if not all, of the people here loved her. That being said, it made him feel a bit guilty thinking back on the time at the skatepark when he had been rather annoyed for her being so late. “Still, I’m sorry,” was his quiet response.
Her answer to the question had been fairly usual, but it still made him jokingly raise an eyebrow of mock-curiosity. In a teasing voice he replied lightly, “You sure about that? After last time, I would think you would reconsider that…” Shaking his head, a more serious look and tone replacing his playful one, “Kidding, of course. I promise, it won’t happen again.” While he wanted to mean that, there was a slight nagging in the back of his mind. It hadn’t taken much at all to provoke him into drinking that time only a week or so ago at the Rave, and that thought made him sick. With himself, of course. How stupid had that been? God. Jynx had only been talking to a friend, and he had taken it completely the wrong way… No. It wasn’t going to happen again. If he had a choice in the matter, which he should have, he knew, that time wouldn’t repeat again. Even with assuring himself of this, it was more than slightly unnerving how much he sounded like someone he knew much too well…pleading and swearing to Owen’s mother that, no, it was just a one-time thing, and that he would stay sober for the rest of his life. Wincing, he pushed the image from his head and glanced to Jynx. No, it wasn’t going to happen to him. Shaking his head, he grinned at Jynx. “Sure. If you want to, of course.”
While Owen knew all to well that he would have to explain about the whole family thing someday, he reserved to forget that for tonight. He was going to enjoy this, even though he didn’t particularly like parties. Jynx was here. That was enough. Starting towards where it appeared the non-alcoholic drinks were being passed out, he glanced beside him to check if Jynx were coming or not. Reassured that he hadn’t lost her, he allowed himself to relax a bit as he stepped up to the drink table. There wasn’t much of a line of course; most people here were going for beer and such, he knew, and it didn’t take him very long to grab a couple of cans of Pepsi, offering one to Jynx. Stepping aside from the few people who were near the drinks, he paused to wait for her. It occurred to him that he was probably being a bit clingy, as he could honestly say he would rather spend the party with Jynx instead of anyone else, but he just sighed. Either she would tell him eventually to stop following her around, or he would eventually find a friend or someone and let her go talk to someone she knew. There were plenty of people who wouldn’t mind in the least talking to her, he knew. Almost all of these people probably knew her, after all. Sighing slightly, he scanned the crowd, hoping to find someone in the off-chance he was annoying Jynx. Then again, he thought while looking back to her, maybe she wouldn’t be that annoyed with him yet. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - STATUS - COMPLETE . come to bed. don't make me sleep aloneCOULDN'T HIDE THE EMPTINESS you let it show. never wanted it to be so cold. just didn't drink enough to tell me you loved me The party - everyone here seemed to know at least one other person who Jynx knew. Which meant - unfortunately to her house, she wouldn't be able to ream the other people out when or if they did any damage to it. Suddenly thinking, she hoped she closed the door to the theater room. Wide-eyed, the blonde peeked over heads onto her tiptoes to check on the door which led down to the theater. Closed, and from what she could tell, no one was touching since the alcoholic drink table and bar was blocking it. Mentally thanking the bartender, Jynx turned back to Owen quietly, making a vow to herself that she wouldn't draw a scene to herself or Owen - which meant, no matter how tempting it was to do anything, like hug him more or anything, she restrained herself. Muttering something, she murmured, "Blasted drunks, going to drown probably."
Glancing outside to the splashing pool now, she spotted two of the "protection" guys out there, keeping an eye on things, surprisingly blending in quite well. Though, hearing a quite mutter from Owen, immediately tuning in to it, she gave him a gentle look and added, "Apology accepted, then." she smiled and nodded once, reassuring him she wasn't mad in the least. Glad to be away from the dance floor, she felt like she could breathe freely again. Inhaling the aroma of...well...alochol mainly, then she could faintly smell her febreeze she'd sprayed all over the house and furniture after the dogs left and before everyone arrived. Grateful for that for the most part, she mentally thanked herself, being glad she hadn't decided to wear her suit under her clothes, got too uncomfortable for her to move around in. Perking up when Owen opened his mouth, she grinned playfully, and let him finish, it fading by the time he was done and she responded, glancing around swiftly before anyone could notice, brushed his hair slightly out of his face, a casual move, ok...maybe not that casual, but still it could be taken as a friend-to-friend move, couldn't it? Blushing deeply in case anyone saw that, though it seemed everyone else was busy with their own life, suddenly spotting Arren, Jynx noticed a girl approach him, but she gave him a light wave, letting him know she'd seen him. It didn't bother her much, a party was a party - anything could happen. "Ah, then I'll just keep an eye on you and your drinks." she winked, brown eyes gleaming happily, before she then looked around once, checking over everything to make sure no one seemed hurt yet. She had a guess though, if anyone would get hurt by their own fault, it would either be her or Owen tripping over something, or someone drunk stumbling over another thing. Smiling inwardly to herself, an ongoing silent joke she could say between herself and Owen, to say they were well-coordinated would be a stretch for either one. Taking Owen's promise to heart, Jynx instinctively fell into step beside Owen as he headed towards a drink station away from the alcoholic bar, she nodded at his response, "Sure." before feeling someone bump into her, she immediately checked over everything in case they'd either wiped something on her, but once she was sure nothing had happened, she let out a sigh of relief, though quietly, not wanting to alarm Owen. Watching his movements, she could tell he was thinking deeply about something, the question was, what? Was he worrying over something? Most likely, that was Owen for you. Brushing her hand on his arm lightly, as she took the can from him, Jynx inquired, "You all right? You seem troubled by something." concern filtered over her usually airy features darkly. Was it something she had done? Horror washed over her a tidal wave of regrets as she quickly replayed over the past few minutes they'd just met up. Her thoughts were interrupted when a girl with white-blonde hair, obviously dyed and blue streaks through it spoke, "Awesome par...tay...Jynx." She smiled politely, the girl reeked of alcohol, "Yeah...thanks Kylie." Once the girl stumbled off, Jynx shook her head lightly, before looking to Owen, regretting having asked that, and quickly added before he could - hopefully, "I'm sorry...I shouldn't have asked." She sighed, and glanced up to his eyes, before inquiring, changing the subject, not wanting to linger on heavy subjects, "How have you been? The band doing ok?"[/blockquote][/blockquote] TAGS: everyone ! WORD COUNT: 700+ STATUS: finished! Post by Phineas Andrew Lee on Jul 26, 2009 13:57:46 GMT -5
Phineas Andrew Lee ! We're all gonna swim, so give me a high five! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -“It’s because I’m magical.” Phineas didn’t bother mentioning that he really hadn’t been that far away anyway. He also didn’t mention that it took him all of five minutes to get ready to go anywhere. Well that didn’t include the time it took him to take a shower. But he really only had to do that in the mornings anyway. Unless he did something totally disgusting like mud wrestling or something. But Phineas couldn’t recall mud wrestling that day, so he had been all good. And the shower pretty much just added ten minutes. Phineas also conveniently forgot to mention that he abandoned skateboarding, and pretty much rushed over here so he could hang out with Alex. Because if he had told her that it would have made him seem desperate. Desperate for what? Well he wasn’t totally sure. So instead, Phineas took the route that made him seem less desperate. Unfortunately it was the one that made him look more socially awkward. Oh well. He would get over it. He enjoyed hanging out with Alex. Probably because she was one of the few females that he hadn’t forced himself on. It was practically a rule that once your forced yourself on someone, or fucked and fled from someone you couldn’t really be friends with them. That didn’t include friends with benefits. But usually you didn’t flee from friends with benefits. Phineas had a lot of life rules that he followed that only seemed to make sense in his mind.
Phineas couldn’t help but freeze when Alex wrapped her arms around him in a hug. It wasn’t because the hug made Phineas uncomfortable. Nothing made Phineas uncomfortable. Okay so maybe a few things made him nervous or uncomfortable like fire and stalkers, but not physical displays of affection. He just hadn’t been expecting it. After a few seconds into the hug Phineas managed to unfreeze himself and wrap his arms around Alex, returning the hug. His cheeks were slightly flushed. Maybe it was because he was taken by surprise? Yeah, he’d juts go with that one. When her arms dropped, Finny’s did that same. He coughed a bit before he spoke again. “Why hi there Alex.” Phineas grinned widely. He laughed in an attempt to possibly distract from the slight pink color in his cheeks. It didn’t often work, but it was worth a try right?
Phineas had been expecting that question from Alex. He was asked that question many times by many different people. Normally it was by the person hosting the party. Oh, those people and their insecurities. Whenever Phineas threw a party, he didn’t leave room for people to say it was boring or that they didn’t have a good time. If you looked bored he would be all up in your grill in a second because that was just the way that Phineas was. Phineas hadn’t just been given his title of ‘party animal’ by the gods of stereotypes or anything like that; he had definitely earned his title and he held it with an iron fist. Phineas never ever turned down an invitation to a party. Even if he was invited to two parties at the same time on the same day, he would somehow manage to attend both for an equal amount of time. There was just something about the atmosphere of parties that he absolutely adored. Maybe it was the fact that there was so much to do at parties. There were so many people to talk to, and normally each group was absorbed in their own particular activity. Or maybe it was for a more shallow reason. Maybe it was because at parties there were usually multiple drunk people. And although sex with those folks maybe sloppy and drunken, it was sex either way and well Phineas was pretty much a sexual fiend. Yeah, Phineas was definitely a male and he definitely likes things that way. And well, pretty much everyone else liked it that way too.
Phineas took a look around Jynx’s house. It was definitely a pretty house, and it was definitely the right house to throw a party in. Finny’s thoughts paused for a minute as he wondered why Jynx didn’t throw more parties. Wait, maybe she did throw parties and she just didn’t invite him! A preposterous idea, but Phineas didn’t doubt it. But he understood why he wouldn’t have been invited, he had only talked to Jynx once and that was just a couple of days ago. Phineas ceased his pondering and returned to answering the question that he had been asked a few seconds ago. “Well I haven’t been here that long, so I am not going to judge too quickly. But it seems pretty radical so far.” Phineas turned his head a bit to watch as one male fell into the pool, clothes on and everything. There weren’t very many people in the pool, and Phineas had to wonder why one would attend a pool party and not actually go in the pool. Then he realized that he wasn’t in the pool, and was instead at the bar. Typical Phineas behavior. “That guy seems to have the right idea though.” Phineas motioned to the man who had fallen in the pool. He flailed a little but seemed fine a few seconds after. Phineas had noticed the two protection guys watching the man in the pool carefully. But it took only seconds before the man was treading water to the side of the pool once more.
Another voice brought Phineas out of his thoughts. It was the bartenders. “What can I get for you kid?” Kid? Phineas hardly considered himself a ‘kid’ anymore. Especially since he had been able to drink for two years already. Oh well, it wasn’t a big deal. “A screwdriver would be phenomenal.” The other man just nodded his head and went to make Finnys’ drink. Screwdrivers were a favorite of Phineas. He had always loved orange juice, and he had always loved vodka. Why not combine the two to make something even better! Not to mention the name was fun. The drink was dropped in front of Phineas a moment later and Phineas just smiled at the bartender before grabbing it and taking a sip. The vodka was scorching, but Phineas couldn’t deny that it was delicious. Even the burning sensation in his throat felt amazing. Phineas placed the drink back onto the bar in front of him and turned to Alex once more. It was then that he really took in what she was wearing. It was pretty. The pretty that made Phineas assume that she wasn’t going to go swimming in it. He may have been dumb, but he could figure out a few simple things…sometimes. “Ms. Alexandra, you don’t seem to be wearing the appropriate attire for swimming.” EVERYBODY AT THE POOL PARTY! outfit: clickeh!lyric credit: pool party - the aquabats [it was fitting =D] word count: one thousand two hundred and seventy-five! notes: okay so first i don't post for like thirty years and then i churn out a crappy post like this. i suck so bad. Alexandra&&Arren TUCKERUn-REVOCABLE Family Ties::**SMILE even when your heart is breaking..
arren::Yeah the brunette in the tiny black dress leading him into the crowd of rotating and moving people was probably the best he was going to get in a loooong while, but this wasn't Arren's thing since he moved. At first letting the tiny figured girl take his hand and lead him off had sounded like the best idea in the world in his head, but then that little piece of Arren's mind woke up. Soon his steps were faltering and his brows pinched together as he finally slowed to a stop before the girl noticed and turned back to him with those doe like eyes that were so cute. Knowing that as a very, well stupid, boy he should just be following after ass like this all day. Damn his chivalry but Arren sighed and lighted used his free hand to take her small one and break it from his wrist before he sighed. "what's the matter, don't want to dance" Taking in the pleading look on the girl's face Arren sighed yet again in a little frustration.
Of course the pretty ones had to be the super cling type. As they stood there for a sec Arren looked about slightly before reaching out and snagged a stray boys arm and pulling him through a little group of people before standing and looking the boy over slightly. Black spikey hair, lip piercing, that same kind of lazy smile most of the guys at the party were wearing, yeah they'd get along just fine he figures. Looking over to where he was still gripping the girl's hand he smiled light before looking back and forth between the two. Here random good looking chick at party, meet random nice looking guy also at the party. Have fun you two.He was pretty sure he watched the girls face flush in anger as he turned quickly and forced his way through the crowd toward the little clearing in front of the door but he figured that within the next couple of minutes the happy little couple would be having fun.
Ok yeah so the party atmosphere was wrecking Arren's mind at the moment. Even as he stood finally in a little clearing of people who were still constantly moving into the house Arren had to take a huge breath and tell himself to chill a little. It was a hard enough feat to accomplish though with the constant flash backs of that last party still coming back to mind every couple of minutes. He kept getting glimpses of people who would suddenly look way too much like people back home for him to have any peace of mind. It was when he was running a hand through his mop of black hair when the girls with the neon green really did look way too familiar to just be coincidence. He froze midway through a swiping of his hair as he took a closer look at the short dark haired girl moving to sit in a chair off to one side of the room before she hand to turn her back to him to sit in the chair that was also facing away.
Making sure he wasn't crazy for a second by wracking his mind for thoughts proved that he was right as the day on the beach popped back up in his mind. Yeah a girl with hair looks like that were hard to forget or miss considering her pale skin had stood out only too much then and still did now in a certain way. Finally pulling his hand away to casually drop back to his side Arren worked his way over to the chair before finally standing next to it. Glancing down at the girl with her gaze cast down at her little phone he smiled before leaning down a little "Why is this pretty girl sitting all alone again?" He knew that some girls would freak and some would laugh at this but honestly if she just smiled and said hi it would make his day. He just hoped that she would remember him enough from the beach to not freak out and do something drastic like scream and run or pull some crazy ninja move or something on him, in fact he hoped to avoid all injuries. Tacking a casual little step back out of firing range he waited patiently hoping for that hi.
**SMILE alexandra::It was only when she had turned around to glance at Phineas that Alex got a little side tracked, mostly because a lot of eyes were suddenyl trained in this general direction. She was guessing it had more to do with mister Lee though and not her simple little figure nonchalantly leaning against the bar there. Yet even as she looked back to Phineas she couldn't contain her amusement at these people. Taking another sip of the dark rum drink to partially hide her smirk Alex really tried to keep from giggling at what she was seeing. As Phineas had moved forward, although he may not have seen it, there was a wake of reactions behind him. Girls were whispering in each others ears with sly smirks, guys were giving scowling glances, and then of course there were those select few caught in the act of being shocked just by the sheer brightness of the kids head. It was utterly adorable that silly little Phin just stood before her smiling like that giving her such a perfect view of everyone so....moved by his little entrance.
She had to shake her head a little before she could smile and turn her gaze back up to meet Phineas' smile, those people would have to wait to deal with him later, right now Alex was having a conversation with her friend and no one was going to be rude enough to interrupt if she could help it. “It’s because I’m magical.” Alex's lips twisted up into a smile of her own hearing his reply before she replied to that with a quick laugh before hand. Oh of course if we're in PhinLand Phinny would be magicable....Wow it took me this long to relate your name to a country, how sad am I? Another quick giggle ensued as Alex really listened to herself talking. On one hand, yes the drinking was making her sound quite a lot like a six year old version of her self, and no she really didn't mind sounding silly as long as it was with Phineas. She had found a person where she didn't have to be all seriousness and crazy attentive to everything. Well ok maybe it was too big a part of her to drop completely but she could be a goof ball every now and then at least.
The hug was there before Alex really even thought about it. She had put down the Zombie and folded those arms around him so quickly that the little part of her subconscious that attended to her more mannered side was banging against the walls put up by that little brown drink. Poor little critter. But she was happy to feel the just all around goodness that came when you were hugging a person. As soon as Alex had started up the act of hugging as a child she couldn't help but keep doing it, not caring if it was a random street person or family member she just liked feeling that warm closeness between herself and another person because, well it felt good frankly. Specially when that person made the effort to hug back like Phinny did. Still her stupid cheeks tried to blush a little before simply darkening the already rose color there from the drink as it really hit her that is was Phineas after all, not that she didn't want to hug him, but she wasn't looking to smother a friend like him with hugs either like she did most people actually. She was trying to cut back on that a little.
Yet hearing his little hi and feeling the return hug was enough to reassure her that no feeling were hurt from the hug so she giggled a little at his kind of humorous reply before the hug broke. Feeling his ars release her she decided it was high time herself that she stop strangling the poor kid and so with a quick movement not meant to be jerky she pulled her arms gently away and smiled up before running her fingers through her bangs to move a few stray ones back into place before she finally dropped her hands completely to her sides. At her her own questioning of whether this party was good enough for him Alex leaned back a little against the bar before propping both elbows up to rest on top of it's surface into a relaxed position so that she was able to watch his surveying of the party in a more comfortable position...at least she found it comfortable. “Well I haven’t been here that long, so I am not going to judge too quickly. But it seems pretty radical so far.” Smirking a little at the use of radical to describe the party Alex nodded and reached over to finish the last of her drink before making eye contact with the bar tender and nodding with a smile.
Then the splashing came from behind where she was looking and Alex almost knew the words before they came out of Phin's mouth.“That guy seems to have the right idea though.” Alex waited a moment longer as the bar tender set her refilled Zombie (she really shouldn't be going for whatever one this was but seeing as the effects just weren't quite noticeable yet it was ok) onto the counter before she finally turned to look out at the fully dressed party goer now clinging to the edge of the pool. Seeing the hair laying against the mans head and his attire for the night now plastered against his skin Alex smile at the ridiculous image of a drowned rat which she was comparing the man to. Tacking a sip once again t refresh the raw feeling in her throat Alex noted with curiosity that a new drink was being placed next to her elbow before a hand quickly took it up. Looking over to see Phineas tacking a sip of a pale orange drink in his hand. Alex's nose scrunched a little as she made a face at the little drink with a smile still fixing it's way in there.
After the look of mock distaste had passed Alex pointed with the hand already holding her own drink, holding now only with three fingers, before she spoke. A tinge of mockery still making its way in there on it's own. Please tell me Mr. party boy Phin doesn't use vodka in his drinks. She couldn't help the words before they came out her mouth, her lips were loose with alcohol. She had this thing with vodka for some reason and judging by the looks and smell of the drink she was making a random stab that the alcohol was indeed that. It wasn't that she didn't think it was enough or anything, just highly over rated for her taste. But what was she talking about his alcohol for, she had her own so why did she care? Probably because she felt fuzzy and needed to say something before she felt like mumbling instead of talking like she had before in the past.“Ms. Alexandra, you don’t seem to be wearing the appropriate attire for swimming.” An eyebrow raised at this and Alex smiled slightly before the giggles took over. She couldn't help reaching over and tapping her finger slight against poor Phineas' nose in a gesture only too familiar between Alexandra and her friends.
Still smiling as her hand retreated from his "personal space" Alex shook her head and tsked lightly. Phineas Lee you highly underestimate my ability to be prepared for parties. Plus i'm guessing you should know by now how a bikini could very easily be a matching underwear set with all those girls of yours. I don't see why my new little black set won't work 'ere. The whole thing had started in her head as a simple "oh but i do have something to swim in phin" but Alex should have been more intelligent to think that with that much Rum in her system should could have just said that alone. she had let her mouth run a little and now that she had, even though she was drunk, she flushed a little at her own words. She was desperately hoping what she had just said wasn't going to be taken to heart because she had just thought about Phineas' rep for a second and that had slipped out. Then there was the whole fact that she was being all....non Alexy. So trying desperately to cover for herself Alex set her drink down firmly and mumbled a quick "sorry" before stopping herself. Probably best to see his reaction first before begging forgivness.

Phineas Andrew Lee ! We're all gonna swim, so give me a high five! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Of course Phineas noticed the reaction that he got from the other people at the party when he entered. It just happened so often that Phineas had learned to ignore it. He even learned to ignore when random women walked up to him and slapped him in the face. Even if it was women he didn’t remember or recognize. They were normally friends of people he had dated in the past of fucked and fled from. Either way, it didn’t really faze him. He would shoot them that ‘What the hell was that for?’ look, and then he’d just shrug his shoulders and be on his way. He didn’t have time to waste questioning females about their motives. So he just kept his mouth shut, and avoided them for the rest of the night. As for the glares from the large amount of males? Phineas didn’t notice those either. They were just mostly from jealous jock failures. They couldn’t stand that the skinny blonde nerd that they used to pick on in school got more ass than a toilet seat now. They were mad that the kid who one came to school so high that he couldn’t remember his own name could weasel his way into their girlfriends’ pants without even breaking a sweat. There was nothing quite like the feeling of sticking it to someone who made fun of you in high school. And it felt even better when you were fucking their girlfriends. Goddamn, it just felt good to be a rock star.
Phineas shook his head when she mentioned Finland. His face broke into a smile, and he let a few chuckles escape from his mouth. “Don’t worry; I actually don’t hear that joke often.” That was probably because most people chose to either call him Phineas or Finny, but his own request of course. The reason why? Phin reminded him of fish. And well…he was ninety nine point nine percent sure that he wasn’t a fish. He couldn’t go the whole hundred percent, because he believed that you could never be one hundred percent sure about anything really. And Phineas had been teased about the whole fish thing when he was younger, and he just preferred that those episodes not be brought up. But Phineas didn’t really mind when Alex called him Phin. Probably because he was so convinced that she wasn’t going to make fun of him or tease him for it. He trusted her, and that was quite an achievement on her part. She deserved a medal or something.
“Oh my dear sweet Alexandra, of course I use vodka in my drinks.” Phineas didn’t actually care much about what went into his drinks. Alcohol was alcohol, no matter where it came from or what was mixed with it; it would have the same effect on Phineas. Well as long as it wasn’t a roofie, he was pretty much cool with it. Roofies were scary things after all. Phineas had actually had only one run-in with a roofie. And that wasn’t because anybody wanted to rape him. It wouldn’t have actually even counted as rape anyway, because Phineas never turned down an offer for sex. Well unless it was his ninth grade Algebra teacher. She was scary and not attractive at all. But she hated Phineas anyway, so he didn’t really think he had to worry about the horrible experience of rape, which was definitely something that he was thankful for. One might think with the track record that Phineas had when it came to sloppy sex in run-down hotel rooms, that he would have used roofies at one time or another. He could honestly say that he had never used one before. He had more respect for the fairer sex than to do something like that to them. But when it came to sloppy drunk women who threw themselves at him? Well he had no problem taking advantage of that.
So maybe vodka was the chosen drink of a lot of underage drinkers, and well just about everyone else. It was what Phineas had started drinking with when he first started drinking with. And he chose to start every drunken night off with a screwdriver. Just like people chose to start their day off with orange juice, Phineas just chose to add vodka to it and start a little later in the day. “What can I say? Poland makes good shit.” Poland knew exactly what they were doing when they made the yummy substance. And the Russians knew exactly what they were doing when the starting guzzling it like there was no tomorrow. At the statement Phineas just kind of shrugged his shoulders, and picked the glass up off the counter. He took another swig before dropping it down to its original place on the counter. It was still half full, or half empty. But that depended on your view of the world. But that was thinking too deeply, and deep thoughts weren’t needed to describe Finny’s current beverage. Phineas wasn’t much into the chugging of alcohol. He liked to take his time when it came to alcohol. He would get smashed and end up in bed with some groupie eventually. There was simply no need to rush things.
Phineas had to pause for a minute to decipher the code that had just been given to him. Phineas wasn’t the brightest bulb in the box, so when people didn’t say things that were straight to the point he actually had to focus on figuring out what they meant. So Alex was wearing a bathing suit and Phineas had just failed to notice? Leave it to Phineas to totally skip over something like that. Once again, he wasn’t even close to being the brightest bulb in the box. But bright lights were annoying and they made Phineas sneeze anyway. “Okay good, because I don’t want to go swimming alone.” Okay, so technically Phineas wouldn’t be alone. He knew a whole bunch of people at this party that would be more than happy to go swimming with him. But at the moment he didn’t want to hang out with the other people at the party, he wanted to hang out with Alex. “Damn. And here you have me all excited that you were going to go naked.” One of Finny’s bright blue eyes closed in a wink after his comment. He truly was an odd kid. The fact that he was more than willing to flirt with someone he considered a good friend, was a foreign concept to most people. Then again, so was going into an empty field at night and waiting to be abducted by aliens. Phineas was pretty much a foreign specimen to the rest of the human population.
Phineas almost laughed when Alex apologized to him. He held back his chuckles because he didn’t want to make her feel dumb or anything for apologizing. But to him there was really no need to apologize. He joked about his overly rampant sexual drive and lack of a love life all the time. He could only expect that others would joke about it as well. There were very few jokes that Phineas would actually have taken offense too. And that included dead baby jokes and jokes about Helen Keller. Those were just crude and unnecessary, and Phineas had no room for any more crudeness in his life. And those jokes were just mean anyway. “Don’t even worry about it.” Phineas smiled brightly to show that he took no offense to her statement. He acknowledged that he was a bit of a man-whore, or a really big man-whore. Phineas actually embraced it. For Phineas sex was really just a past-time, almost like skateboarding or playing soccer was. It was just something he enjoyed doing, so he was going to continue doing it regardless of what people said about it.

Walking up to Cassie this guy asked her Would ya know like to dance with me and friends.’ he pointed back. “Erhm I really would, but no thanks.” she said, the guy walking away. Cassiedy felt really bad for the boy. She should’ve, she didn’t feel like it. She didn’t feel like doing a lot of things. And surely she didn’t want to go dance with drunk guys, that probably would push her to leaving. Cassie was sure she didn’t want to leave. Really that chair was getting comfortable, and comfortable. She’d probably have to ask Jynx where she got it. Knowing how her family is, they probably got it from a place for over a thousand dollars, which was out of Cassie’s price range. If it was from a known store it would be kind of funny, since her parents are living like that. She laughed to herself a little.
Flipping her phone down, the girl pulled her hair out from behind her shoulders. She saw people walking around her never imagining them stopping, and then talking to her, except that guy. She wished she had more friends, it would probably help her personality out some. Well being scared to do anything anymore, just because she didn’t want to fail at what she was doing. She never had this problem with her friends, or her old family. She mostly had stuff to do with her sister, it was mostly about her sister. For her, sitting there was fun. Listening to people conversations were the best thing. Getting dirt on Jenna, or Leana. She just loved hearing things come out of other peoples mouth, that was supposed to be a secret. Tell how a good friend they are if they’re spreading shit around. Cassie rolled her eyes.
Hearing a voice, she jumped a little. She held her hand to her chest, then looked at the boy. “You scared me a little, silly you’re not supposed to scare people.” she said laughing some, good someone she knew some. Well not like they were the best of friends, just a little meeting up at the beach. Whoa, Cassie just realized, when Arren and Cassie meet she was wearing her bathing suit. What was with this boy catching Cassie in her bathing suit. Giggling some at that thought, what if it was true. Most likely not, since everyone could go to the pool party, she was just there to be there. Fitting in with the crowd some was something Cassie did. She just didn’t want to be alone, in a corner.
She turned her head to Arren. “Nothing better to do, Oh did you hear Jenna slept with Nick last week. That’s all I’ve been hearing about since I sat down here.” she said, oh well it looked like everyone was about to hear it anyway. “Why not just sit here, I can’t dance, and I don’t think I’ll be getting in the pool anytime soon.” she said smiling some, she really didn’t want to swim. She was mostly there to see if anyone good was there. Nothing. Well to Cassie there was no one, maybe Arren, but they weren’t close friends. If Jenna was there, whoo, now that was a party, but oh well, she was busy. Turning to face Arren, Cassie started to play with her necklace.
Sitting there was kind of boring, knowing Cassiedy did it all the time at her house. Watching TV, texting, and sitting there talk to herself, or her friend. She didn’t talk to herself often, it was every now and then, because of the bored-ness. Who isn’t bored sitting at the house doing nothing, if you aren’t you must have a life. Unlike Cassie she didn’t have much of one. She never really did anything, she used to go bike riding, she just got a little lazy after words. ‘This makes me want to get out again.’ she thought to herself, shaking her head a little. Cassie dropped her necklace, landing on her somewhat pale skin. She pulled her drink to her mouth taking a sip. She glanced around at the people. Why was Arren talking to her, there’s a lot more prettier people out there. She just didn’t know.
Pulling her purse closer to her, she didn’t want the boy to be there for something of hers. Then again, he was sweet. She was just scared, now it was just getting to her head. She’s never been scared to death about everything, and everyone. She doesn’t blame her parents to much, mostly herself. Never really taking a thought to think about it, it was mostly getting to herself, by herself. It seemed a little weird but it was Cassie, and everything about her is different. Her life style, living needs, family. Not being a close family took part into her little life. She wanted a nice family that actually cared about her, instead she’s sitting at a pool party, then going home to Jenna. That’s mostly what her days turn out to be, work, home, sit in the living room, doing nothing. Then when she was off, she did nothing, catching up on her sleep probably. Depending on how the week went.

Alexandra&&Arren TUCKERUn-REVOCABLE Family Ties::**SMILE even when your heart is breaking..
arren::It was when Arren was walking away from the dance floor and toward the less poplated region of the house that he really began wondering what her was doing. Sure it was a nice change of pace from his usual party hard live hard lifestyle back home, but it was so new and foreign to him that he was still kind of set off from it quite a bit. As his feet led him wherever he was heading his gaze lingered on people over at the bar. Their faces hapy and flushed from the consumption of alcohol. For a moment as the crowd shifted a little he swore a little dark hair girl looked too much like Alex for him to not react but before he could tell anything else about her kids were moving again and she was out of sight. He shook his head lightly trying to straighten his thoughts again. Oh yeah he remembered why he had been looking over there.
Arren had been really heavily into drinking basically all through highschool and probably still would have been now if not for the whole growing up and getting a life thing that events had lead to. Sighing and continuing on he bumped slightly against a stumbling couple who bounced slightly off him before the girl erupted into fits of laughter as she collapsed against the boy who's arm she was clinging onto like a lifeline. As they passed by, both swaying and guffawing freely now he sighed. Actually maybe not drinking was all for the better. Then he caught sight of Cassidy once again and he smirked a little before moving up beside her and waiting after he had said his hello to see her reaction.. As he stood there slightly behind her it was only the jerking of her head that gave away to him that she had been frightened.
Amusement was all he could muster at the moment upon seeing her reaction. Usually he would say sorry about startling someone, but that would've been if they were alone and no one else around. Here at a party you were startled all the time by random people so arren decided that his hello really hadn't been super creepy or anything enough to scare her. Right?“You scared me a little, silly you’re not supposed to scare people.” Well shoot there went that theory. For a moment Arren was about to offer an apology before Cassiedy turned around and pressed her hands to her chest before laughing in this sweet soft little noise that had him smiling himself. Ok so he had a thing for laughs, sew him. Just hearing the slight joking tone in her voice for a second there was good enough but Arren still smiled that little lop sided smile of his before he lower his head a little as he bent over to meet her eye level better. Well then this silly guy apologizes very much for that then Miss Cassiedy. Forgive me? Oh shut up with the chivalry.
Yeah growing up in New Mexico had really shown Arren that with a nice tone and a few kind words, ladies really liked to stay around longer than they would with the whole dumb guy act. So he just smirked inwardly at himself before straightening back up to stand straight again. It was then that Arrn got a good look at the now turned Cassie. A smile played across his lips at her dressing. He had met Cassiedy that day on the beach, just randomly spotting the pretty girl in black among all the other over bright sunny people. Now seing her in black again just made him smile because it was like so little had changed between that time and now. The irrony of a beach meeting and then a pool party meeting was simply amazing for Arren and he made a mental note that maybe he was only going to see her around water, and if that was the case he would make a lot of water time. He had startled himself with that thought but it was true, he liked running into Casseidy. PErsonally he had found her interesting the moment he saw her on the beach, kin dof like she was the flame and he was that poor fateful little moth.
Not to mention the fact he liked being around shy people because they tended to be the more interesting ones in life. They just turned out to be holding in some really cool stuff when they actually did start talking to you. “Nothing better to do, Oh did you hear Jenna slept with Nick last week. That’s all I’ve been hearing about since I sat down here.” Like this. Arren smirked slightly as he shifted legs a little where he was standing as he considered this. On one hand he had no idea who these two people were, but then he two had heard those two names quite a lot from random parts of the party. Yeah I've been hearing that around. Is it a big scandal or did the two of them just randomly hook up? Ok honestly he could have cared less about these two people but he was happy to see Cassiedy smiling and talking so he wanted to promote that in any way possible.
Arren sighed as another new group of kid came through the door, hopefully this was the last of the party because things sure were looking packed. As his mind drifted off to Jynx a little he actually wondered how many people she had invited. He had assumed in his little mind tha a pool party was like a fun get together of a couple dozen people, this was turning into more of a party party, which was awesome. “Why not just sit here, I can’t dance, and I don’t think I’ll be getting in the pool anytime soon.”Hearing Cassiedy's light feminine voice again he shook his bangs out of his eyes before smiling and glancing at the guy sitting in a chair not far to her left. The guy looked about ready to hurl for some odd reason and so Arren's smile faded slightly in empathy. Yeah there he went running for the door. Arren just smiled again and moved to take his chair, moving it a little toward Cassiedy so he could face her, before sitting down.
Turning back to Cassie he listened to what she had said and shook his head a little. How in the world did i find the one other person at the party who just wanted to relax and not get all crazy before jumping in the pool? Honestly he had though that he was the only one out of this crazy collection of kids that planned to spend the night just chatting and actually not dancing, because personally Arren had two left feet, so this was perfect. Not to mention it didn't have to be some random stranger. He could see himself and Cassiedy becoming friend. She just seemed to him like one of those girls you just didn't pass over in life. In fact he had always wanted to get to know the darkly dressed girl, since that time on the beach. So what better time than a party? So Cassie you never did tell me that day on the beach why you live here. He laughed softly at the memory. She just kept skipping over the subject for one reason or another, and Arren was overly curious about everything. Hopefully he'd end up better then the cat in the end though. **SMILE alexandra::She couldn't help but giggle still at the people in the party. Everyone was amazingly lively and bright in a way they only seemed to be at parties. There were kids shoving into one another in mock fighting. Girls were babbling and laughing with their friends. All in all it was just turning out to be a real party in here. But then that guy behind Phineas caught her gaze and..."eww did he just lick his lips or something" Yeah ok so maybe parties didn't effect everyone the same. Still she felt daring with that little drink and smirked at the guy, biting her lower lip in a rather un-Alex like gesture. And the results of that had her bitting bak laughter of her own. His eyes went kinda wide and he smiled a big goofey smile.
Before she dropped the act. Kinda glaring at the guy a moment later she swiftly raised her hand to flip the guy the bird and leaned against the counter again. The results were instantaneous. The guy's face dropped into his own little glare before he turned and stalked off, still holding a bit of surprise on his features. As soon as his back was turned Alex broke into her own smile before shaking her head, what had he expected really? It was then that she noticed Phineas had been talking. Probably about something she had said earlier and a quick blush stole over her features as she tried to scramble to think if she had heard what he had said. Nope nothing. Embarrassment at having totally ignored him washed through her and so Alex just nodded a tad before bringing her drink to her lips, trying to cover the fact that she had nothing to say because she didn't know what he had. She really had to learn to focus more.
Luckily for her though Phineas had never been one for great pauses in conversation. He really didn't leave too much time between what he originally said and what was coming next so Alex knew that if she just kept drinking her drink she'd be ok. So she winced a little as the Rum started really settling in her system, she felt the way her eyes wanted to close, how her mid was fuzzily warm and content with everything. Then Phineas was a good little boy and camne around with that talking again and she swallowed down her last drink before setting the little drink down onto the counter with a little smack.“Oh my dear sweet Alexandra, of course I use vodka in my drinks.” She smiled a little at this. She had always been a sucker for the little ways her male companions called her by. Darling, honeybunch, all those good little ways they called her by made her smile because it was cute in it's own way to see grown men using those words. Especially coming from guys like Phin here who were her friends.
Well....ok then since you're Phin I guess I can't say too much 'bout it. I still think it's a girly drink though.
There she had said her opinion, it was out in the open and she wasn't taking it back. She hid her mischievous little smile behind her own glass again after it though and reflected on her opinion. If Alexandra had grown up a Cali girl or anywhere else but down South she would've probably loved those drinks. But back home it was shooting whiskey 24/7 or any other concoction that was brought down to where she lived. So she had a rather selective taste for alcohol after living there and that was just how she was. After taking another sip of her drink Alex sighed and set it down before looking over to the pool again and thinking of how inviting it looked at the moment. A little too inviting to ignore much longer in fact.“What can I say? Poland makes good shit.” She glanced back to Phineas at that and just smirked. At least he hadn't brought up and Polish jokes with that, she would have relaly had to kick his butt then.
She didn't look back to the pool but instead just kind of relaxed for a second against the counter debating in her head what to do next. She knew she would love to jump in there with all of her clothes on like she usually did, and in fact this was her mother dress, so why shouldn't that work. Because her necklace didn't like water. So as Phineas made his comment on him not wanting to swim alone she gave a true Lexxy smile before she turned her back to him a second before removing her necklace from around her neck, along with the headband and her grandmother's ring, before calling the bartender over. As he smiled and asked how he could be of service Alex smiled and handed over her stuff before pointing towards the pool and saying "I'll be back for those in a while mister, and if they're gone.." He simply laughed at that before taking the little items and tucking them away under the counter and tapping his temple before turning away as Alex did also. “Damn. And here you have me all excited that you were going to go naked.” She caught Phineas' comment as she was turning back and she only smirked slyly at his smiling features.
Oh don't you and most of the boys here wish.
She giggled a little because truly she knew skinny dipping at a party like this would be insane, guys were animals like that. She knew from being Arren so long that a few select ones would hesitate to react for a while, but in the end boobs are boobs for all guys. But Alex just smirked as she set about unlacing her converse and gently removing either one before setting them off to the side of the bar a little, hidden but noticeable if she needed to find them again quickly. Then she turned and faced Phineas biting her lip a little, that little spark in her eyes would have alerted her brother to run for the hills as soon as he saw it, but poor Phineas probably would have no idea about the mischief maker's plotting. “Don’t even worry about it.” She nodded a bit at his reaction to her earlier comment and really was glad he accepted her apology because it wouldn't have been any fun if he had spun off on her and stormed away. Not back to pool thoughts. Reaching out her hand for Phineas to take she smiled.
Alright well now that that's all settle why don't we go actually enjoy this pool party huh?

Phineas Andrew Lee ! We're all gonna swim, so give me a high five! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -“Oh really now?” One of Finny’s blonde eyebrows pounced upwards in a mixture of a little surprise and a little bit of challenge. Phineas didn’t bother to hide his little bit of surprise at her statement when he spoke. “Girly drink or not, it’s fucking delicious.” A screwdriver? Come on now, it even had a manly name. Mixed drinks like screwdrivers were in that weird gray area between manly drinks and girly drinks in Phin’s opinion. Oh well, Phineas had been called feminine before, so her statement didn’t actually bother him that much. “I think you are incorrect in that assumption. You see, Appletini’s, Tequila Sunrises and Sex on the beach are girly drinks.” Seriously? Who actually named a drink an Appletini? It was either by a woman or by a man who got a sex change. Phineas may have been awkwardly feminine at times, but he was manly enough not to drink Appletini’s or wine in a public setting. “But I will admit that Sex on the beach is really good.”
Phineas didn’t bother specifying that he was speaking about the drink. Because the drink was delicious, and having sex on the beach was pretty great too. Since they were talking about drinks, it would only make sex that he would be talking about the drink. Phineas just shrugged at Alex's comment. She was telling the total truth. Phineas did indeed fit the definition of an oversexed male pig, but at least he was willing to admit it. He witnessed firsthand the kind of vile, self-obsessed and disgusting creatures than men could be, and most often were. That was why he had quite the protective side when it came to the females that managed to get really close to him. Like whenever any male came within a five feet radius of Leita, Phineas was all over them, and not in the good sexual way that he was usually all over people. But in that annoying over-protective older brother kind of way. He would just fire one question after another at them. What was their name? How did they know each other? How long had they known each other? How old were they? Did they drink? Did they have a criminal record? And it didn’t matter what their answers were. Phineas would turn to Leita and shake his head. By now of course, she ignored it but the males were always a little freaked out, with good reason of course. If somehow someone managed to get Phineas settled down, and they had a baby girl together that little girl was going to hate him. Phineas didn’t bother saying anything when Alex made her suggestion. He just nodded eagerly and set to work on getting himself ready to actually swim. Since he had been at the beach with Dominic and that whole group earlier, Phineas was pretty much dressed for swimming. Well with the exception of the fact that he was wearing a shirt shoes and currently carrying an iPhone and cigarettes (ahem.) in his pockets. Most of the time Phineas was already to swim. He may have been raised in the desert, miles away from a beach, but that didn’t mean that Nevada didn’t have pools. The days did get quite steamy in the city of sin and its sinners needed some kind of way to cool off right? Right. Not to mention, Phineas was often suckered in by his friends to go swimming in random people’s pools. It wasn’t that Phineas was a trouble maker or anything. Well at least he didn’t cause trouble on purpose. Phineas just wanted to hang out and have a good time, and well sometimes fun can involve trespassing and using strangers’ pools. It was practically in the having fun rulebook. Well it would be in there if there was actually a fun rulebook. Phineas would have to write one later. Maybe that could be like the bible of Finnyism? That religion he had made with Will. He would have to tell Will about that later. Well first things came first. Phineas handed his skateboard over to the bartender. He quickly grabbed the package of cigarettes and his cell phone from his back pocket and dropped them both on the counter next to his now-empty glass. Those were pretty much the most important things he had with him. Phineas pulled the dark hat with the glasses attached off of his head, releasing the mass of blonde hair so that it could suddenly move about freely. It was both rare and odd to see Phineas without glasses or sunglasses on. But it was even more rare to see him without something around his head. Typically he wore a hat or a bandana of some sort that would take some of the attention away from his hair. Because as much as Phineas loved his blonde hair (to be specific, he loved the blonde enough to dye his hair every other week), it could get kind of distracting. Even when he was in the middle of talking people would just kind of stare at it. More than once Phineas stopped talking all together and the people would continue to stare. On more than one occasion Finny had actually turned around and looked behind him to try and see what it was that they were looking at before realizing it was just his hair. It put quite the pause in conversations to say the least. And then it was time for the shirt to come off. Phineas pulled the black piece of fabric over his head without a second though, quickly revealing his back and chest. Phineas dropped his shirt on the counter with his other things, and the bartender quickly scooped them out and put them all in a location that was unknown to Phineas. There were a small scars there weren’t very noticeable, but in addition there were a few cuts and bruises that were pretty noticeable. Well that was what you had to sacrifice in the name of skateboarding and having fun, at least when you were Phineas Andrew Lee. When Phineas turned to place his shirt on the counter, his eyes caught those of a girl sitting at the other end of the bar who was practically devouring him with her eyes. If Phineas had been trying to get laid that night, he would have motioned to another part of the house and just started walking. But tonight wasn’t a getting laid night; tonight was just there to be a fun night. And Phineas fully intended on having fun. And if he get laid along the way, that was just what was supposed to happen. So instead he just smiled brightly, and turned his attention to his shoes. He pulled each one off before dropping them next to Alex’s. One could tell their personality differences by something as simple as how they placed their shoes. Alex’s were somewhat neat and carefully hidden. Phin’s were pretty obviously seen and you could tell that he had just completely forgotten about them the minute they were off his feet. Finny turned from his shoes and shot Alex a grin signaling that he was ready for pool time.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote] EVERYBODY AT THE POOL PARTY! outfit: clickeh!lyric credit: pool party - the aquabats [it was fitting =D] word count: one thousand two hundred and twenty three! notes: it's kind of uneven. but whatevs! it works.[/ul]
