- - - - strengths, Kyree is a very optimistic girl. She is always looking on the brighter side of things, despite whatever situation she may be in. She is also very kind and polite to everyone, even those she first meets. Kyree is very easy to talk to, and despite the fact that she talks, A LOT, she is a very good listener.
- - - - weaknesses, Kyree has a bit of a temper, and it doesn't take much for her to get angry. She is also very stubborn, and prefers to do things her way on her time. Answering to others isn't something she does, and she likes to make her own rules. it tends to be a bit of a turn off when trying to make friends, but once you get to know the girl you can see past all of the bad. Kyree also doesn't open up very well to others.
- - - - dreams, Kyree one day wants to make it big in the music industry. She keeps telling herself that her chances are good for becoming a popular singer, since its what the island is famous for and whatnot. the girl is always singing, or writing down lyrics that pop into her head. Sometimes her mother thinks she's a little too involved with her dream, often times slacking off on her studies to sing into her hairbrush instead.
- - - - fears, Not accomplishing her dream, waking up to find out the island was all a dream, her dad finding her and her mother
- - - - overall personality,
Kyree is the type of girl that will find the positive side in any situation. She hates being negative, and doesn't really care when others try to rain on her parade. Try as you may, its hard to put a damper on this girl's spirit. She's rebellious at times, and likes to have fun. Overall though she's a good girl. She listens to her mom and does what she says, but she's pretty much the only adult Kyree will listen too.
She has a short temper, and a bad tendency to blow things out of proportion. She's been known to hold a grudge for a while, so try not to get on her bad side. Ky is also a very very stubborn girl. She likes to do things her way, on her time. Don't try telling her what to do, she most likely won't listen. Telling her not to do something only wants to make her do it more. Those that know her best often use reverse psychology to get her to do things. Her mother often tell sher she won't get her homework done before dinner so she'll do it.
Opening up to others isn't Kyree's strong point. She prefers to keep her feelings and emotions to herself, but that doesn't keep her from giving her opinion on things. Kyree likes to keep herself distanced from others, to prevent herself from getting too close. She fears that those she gets closest to will walk out of her life, or hurt her like her dad did. Kyree's music is the only way she knows how to truely express herself. The songs she sings usually have an important meaning to her.

- - - - family,
Katrina Marie Briggs, mother
Nathaniel Allen Briggs, father
- - - - pets, none
- - - - overall history,
Kyree Dillian Briggs was born to Katrina and Nathaniel Briggs on April 18th in Nashville Tennessee. Her parents were both fairly young when they had her. Her mother was only twenty and her dad was twenty one. Kyree wasn't a planned child, but was welcomed into the world none-the-less. Yes there were hard times, but the small family made it through them.
Kyree grew up a very happy kid with great friends and good grades in school. She was close to both of her parents and always obeyed the rules they had set for her. She was a bit of a free spirit, but never did anything too rebellious or dangerous. When she was seven, her mom got her a voice coach, hoping some sort of hobby would help settle her daughter's free spirit.
Her mother's attempt was futile however, as Kyree quickly developed a passion for music, and a bigger-than-life dream to become a famous singer. Her grades began slipping a little bit as she turned her focus from schoolwork to singing. Yeah, she got lectures from her parents but it wasn't anything too serious. Kyree was still passing, did her homework, and managed a C or better on all of her tests, so she didn't really see any harm in what she was doing.
As Kyree got older, the arguements between her parents became more frequent. She watched as her parents slowly began to distance themselves from one another. Often times, Kyree felt like she was torn in between her mother and her father. She loved them both, and wished there was some way things could go back to normal. Those hopes vanished though when Kyree turned fourteen. It was then that her father replaced his lack of affection with his wife, with Kyree.
Ky was sexually abused by her father for a couple months before she ever got the courage to tell anyone about it. After she finally told her mother, the two packed up their things and headed for the island, leaving behind the life Kyree knew as well as her father. They never told him where they were going, hoping it would keep him from looking for them both.
Its been a couple years now, and Kyree is learning to put the past behind her. It's not without consequences though. The girl has a hard time trusting others now, and doesn't like to open up. She prefers to keep to herself instead of getting close to those that could someday turn around and hurt her like her dad did. Instead, Kyree is chosing to focus on her dream, and enjoy her life on the island.
- - - - rp sample,
Jayme rolled over as her eyes groggily fell onto her alarm clock… SHOOT! She was running late. This meant she had either slept through the alarm, again, or had completely forgotten to set it last night. Either was a reasonable explanation, both in which Jayme Lynn could see herself doing. Jayme quickly hopped into the shower, brushed her teeth, and got dressed. She didn't have time for breakfast, despite the disapproving look on her mother's face. Not in the mood to argue this morning, Jayme grabbed an apple from the counter as she slid her book bag over her shoulder and headed out to the car.
If Jayme had been driving, she would have sped. She would have driven at ridiculous speeds and make it to school on time. Yet Jayme wasn't quite sixteen yet, which meant she was at the mercy of her mother's driving. Ugh. After what felt like ages, Jayme finally made it to school, hopping out of the car right as the first period bell rang. "Dang it!" Jayme yelled, slamming the car door and not bothering to tell her mom bye. Jayme's attempt at a good mood was quickly proving to be useless as she felt the irritation coming over her.
"Nice of you to join us Miss Foster" her English teacher told her as she blushed and quickly took her seat in the back of the room. Well, today officially sucked, at least it couldn't get any worse right? Wrong. Math was her next class, in which she had forgotten that she had a test. Studying would have been nice. Oh well, they were just grades right? Plus it wasn't like Jayme had cared about her grades all too much lately. Slacking off was another way to get attention from her parents, and she was planning on keeping that one going as long as possible. It wasn't like she was completely failing. She made sure to try enough to get a passing grade. Getting held back was an experience she didn't particularly want to witness first-hand.
Jayme was all too relieved when lunch time rolled around. She quickly met up with her "friends" in the hallway and walked with them to the cafeteria. She used the term "friends" loosely, since she hadn't exactly befriended these girls until attention was needed. Jayme now oriented herself around more rebellious, older girls that were usually a bad influence on her. The shop-lifting memory slowly started to bubble up in the back of her mind, but Jayme quickly pushed it away as she grabbed her tray and filled it with food. Skipping breakfast had really put a hurting on her appetite.
"This day has been so dull" Jayme heard one of her friends say, although she wasn't exactly paying attention. She was more focused on making it to the table without spilling her coke. "Wouldn't you agree Jayme?" The mention of her name caused her to look up as she scooted her chair in towards the table. "What?" she asked, learning that she really needed to make sure she knew what she was agreeing to before she said yes. Her friends rolled their eyes, but quickly filled her in on the conversation that she had been ignoring. "We were just talking about how this lunch time needs a little excitement, and you're the perfect girl to do it" Jayme knew that tone of voice. It was fake admiration, adoration, voice lined with a convincing tone that hinted do-it-or-else. Ugh. Today was not working out in her favor.
"Um" Jayme hesitated, really missing the days that the biggest thing her lunch consisted of was worrying about homework or if anyone had seen her trip walking to her seat. She really didn't want to risk losing her inside with these girls though, so with a defeated sigh, she agreed. "What am I doing exactly?" she asked as her eyes glanced around the lunch room, wondering what on earth these girls had in store, and for whom.
