They see him as bold and adventuresome, someone who will try anything once; someone who takes chances and enjoys an adventure. They enjoy being in his company because of the excitement he radiates.
Other times he is sensible, cautious, careful & practical. He is clever, gifted, and talented, but modest, not a person who makes friends too quickly or easily, but someone who's extremely loyal to friends he does make and he expects the same loyalty in return. Those who really get to know him realize it takes a lot to shake his trust in his friends, but equally that it takes him a longer time to get over if that trust is ever broken.

[/li][li] Torik's mother, Pamela James, was born in Bellingham, Wa March 13th, 1972. She never knew her biological father, and lived with her alcoholic mother, who died in the year 1987. Pamela was adopted into the James family and gave birth to Torik. Torik was born in Kent, Wa October 16th, 1991 and was abandoned by his father, leaving his mother with him. They never had a steady home and lived with relatives, friends, and occasionally in hotels.
On Torik's 4th birthday, he was reunited with his father who quickly left before the next day. About a year later Torik was taken from his mother because she was also an alcoholic and lived with his grandparents, Henry V. James & Flor James. He lived there for about a year and was taken by his Aunt Rose to Everett, Wa where he started the first grade at Madison Elementary School, he lived there for another year. After Pamela completed her intervention he moved back with her to Lake Stevens. He lived there for seven years with his Step-Brother Brandon. They moved to Tukwila in 2005 for two years and moved to Mount. Lake Terrace in 2007 for three months.
Finally they moved back to Lake Stevens for two more years and Torik's sister found him on myspace, reuniting him with his biological father at last.
NOTE: this was my real life, I had never used it for a role-play and thought it might be interesting to try!

[/li][li] In the asunder planet, Memio Nu there is a bantam archipelago, and on that island, are mountains, lakes, waterfalls and forests. Including a large mansion, and in that manor are children, scattering down the halls, and outside the acropolis, almost like a school. The suns were now just disappearing behind the mountains, and burning orange under the clouds that quietly drifting across the scarlet sky. In that small island, at the School, a Tlingite boy was sitting on stone benches near the small fountain in the middle of the school's plaza. He was looking at the suns, and the first of the stars that peer from the sky, and the moons, all five of them were glowing brightly and scattered across the expanse of the sky.
Torik's hazel eyes were scrutinizing the students as they walked past each other, hugging friends, and a few students kissing. Torik's classes were over and it was his free period. No one he knew had a free Period and he got bored after just watching the students walking hither and thither. He sighed greatly and lifted himself off the stone bench and put on his hooded sweater. He looked around some more and then headed for his dorm room, which was all the way on the other side of school.
Dina wandered the streets blindly with pure unadulterated anger throbbing inside her gut like a second heart pulsing in her ears taunting her every move. Although she didn't trust the man even after these past 6 years he has taken care of her, it still hurt like hell after being abandoned for the second time in her poor miserable 14 years of life. Dina glanced around her for some sign as to what planet she was on to potentially help her with an idea of where she was in this universe and possibly find a way to leave this planet and maybe even find those bastards who have stolen her youth from right under her nose when she was a child and show them a piece of payback!
Dina stopped in her tracks literally shaking with fury at the thought which so suddenly entered her mind but a grimy fat hand gripped her shoulder yanking her out of her thoughts with it's repulsive smell of cigar smoke. "Excuse me young lady but don't you have to be in school?!" the annoying voice stated more than asked pulling her probably in the direction of whereever this 'school' was. Dina glared at this enemy figure finally finding someone she could let her anger out on and kicked the man in the crotch forcing him to let go instantly and without another word the girl ran off through the crowd who thanks to their terror of her, parted the way as she unknowingly ran in the direction of where the school was.
Once she reached the premise unknowingly, she stopped running, and with all her training she wasn't even out of breath. Dina sighed as she stared at the ground, no longer mulling over the past or at least for now finally feeling alone oblivious to the manor which stood before her however strange that is to believe. "Why can't life be fair." she thought aloud, speaking for the first time since she has arrived here.
Torik twisted around and headed back for the stone bench. He grabbed his journal that he accidentally left next to him as he was sitting earlier. He turned back around and, while walking, whisked through the papers he had written over the years he was here. He flipped through all the pages and double checked, for he had a habit of checking over things. Earlier in the year just as he was starting his Journal, the school Jerks had ripped most of his pages out and so, Torik made the habit of checking his Journal.
Torik put his journal down and placed it in his Messenger Bag, and realized he had walked himself through the west hall and up the stone steps to the third floor. Torik was at the end of the West Hallway looking into the East, right in the intersection of all four hallways. "This stupid school, I don't even know why I'm here, why did I ever accept the damned guy's invitation?" Torik growled under his breath, luckily in his own language. Torik head into the North Hallway and turned into room 92, that was his dorm and he didn't share with anyone. He slammed his door, dumped his stuff on his bed, and sunk down into his desk chair. The room was dimly lit and the only light was from the window, in front of Torik. He had the full view of the North side Memio Nu's island. Most people who had never been here would think the view is spectacular, but after five years of being in the school, Torik didn't think the view was at all spectacular.
Dina closed the door of the building quietly behind her as she glanced around slightly paranoid before she continued down a random hallway. Before it didn't take her long to realized the manor looming over her as a shadow cascaded over her form to reveal its presence made by the sinking sun on the horizon. Quickly she had hurried up to it seeing no one around and hoping it would be empty, clueless to the student that littered the field on the other side. She then entered and upon seeing no one she continued on her way exploring the maze like hallways which made up this prestigious like haven and before long she got lost.
Dina glanced around beginning to feel the last shards of sunlight outside a small neat little window with darkness now shrouding her every step in a deeper tint than the last and she further got lost unable to find her way outside the place. She grumbled angrily at her ignorance for not leaving behind some trail to find her way back or some code that could aid her but know she blindly walked into a place with no knowledge of how to get out. . . and with voices beginning to get louder and louder! Classes have seemed to end and they were now returning to their dorms and Dina was being forced in the middle of them soon to be discovered as a 'bandit' as they call it I guess and she didn't like talking to anyone especially if its to explain herself at least not now!
Trapped in the middle of she did the first thing that popped in her mind and ran into a random room quickly closing it and locking the door behind her holding it closed just in case the lock proved to be defective again oblivious to everything around her including the other kid in the room.
"Oi!" Torik said as he quickly sat up at the sight of the random girl. "What do you think you're doing!?" Torik said, a little softer than before. Torik had the music playing and the lights were still dim. He couldn't get a great view of the girl's face as the sunlight from the window only shone on her hips and down. He quickly flipped a switch and the lightbulb nearest the girl shone brightly contrasting the dimness of the rest of the room.
Dina, startled, flipped around grateful to the darkness for masking her shock and possibly her identity from the boy who was already in the room. She didn't bother to answer his question as she glanced around cautiously for a possible weapon in case she would need one to defend herself from the other constantly glancing back at him in case he made a sudden movement but so far he appeared to be no threat to her. Really, she needed to work on her skills of observation ALOT more cause she was apparently failing at it.
Dina then saw his arm move and her eyes widened before she was abruptly blinded by a bright light which happened to be so close that she could feel its heat on her arm as she tried to shield her eyes from it moving away from the intensity right into a corner where she gradually regained her site and she slowly lowered her arms to take a better look at the boy. He looked like a Tlingite or whatever her master called them. A race that shouldnt be underestimated but now she was by a bat like intrument which she could use in defense if the need arised. She wasn't about to give up without a fight!
He watched her stumble in the light, and he quickly grabbed the remote to the Music Player and turned the Music off. Torik then placed the remote on the desk and just stood their and watched her. "What are you doing?" Torik asked. "Who are you?" He added.
"Why should I answer you?!" The girl snapped her violet eyes glaring daggers at him ready at any moment if he made any movement at all that seemed the least bit dangerous or something of that nature but so far he hasn't and it was beginning to make her curious, only for the fact that curiosity killed the cat she reminded herself and stayed in her poised position.
Torik was taken aback at the snapping of the girl. "Erm-" He stuttered. "Because you're in my room." He explained. "Now, I'm asking you again, who are you and why are you here?" Torik asked again.
Dina felt taken aback by the simplicity of his answer but decided to reply reguardless as she crossed her arms leaning in the corner. "Because of those snobby brats outside of your door," She retorted neglecting to answer who she was truthfully not feeling like telling him in case he had the memory to remember it and right now she didnt want him to know that information only to tell on her to whoever owned this place.
Torik was confused now. He scratched his head and thought of something to say. "So what? Are you new here or something?" He asked. He didn't like her attitude at the moment and some of those 'snotty people' were his friends.
New here? She thought in her head and now that she thought of it, this place looked like a bedroom. Was this like an orphanage or something? Never really have gone to school herself or at least not that she remembers, she was clueless to the works of a school. But she decided to go along with it anyways and seeing how there was a second bed in there that was empty she decided to take advantage of it. "Yea Im new here and Im your new room mate."
Torik raised his eyebrow and scratched his head again. He was kind of disappointed that he got a room-mate, but brushed it off. He stuttered a little. "Okay. Okay, that's your bed. And - Erm - Welcome." He said, trying to help her a little. "Do you have any luggage you need help with?" He asked, hoping him being able to help her to excuse the rude welcoming.
Luggage, right one needed luggage to move in did they not? Well she had none but wouldn't that appear awkward? Just then she realized that the sound outside of the door was gone and an idea popped into her head as she smiled. "Oh yes, I have luggage. Its downstairs, I just gotta go get it." She replied walking to the door as casually as she can and opening it to see no one in the hall. 'Sucker' she thought, with this she can make a smooth get away and no one would ever know she was here.
"Okay. Do you need help getting it up?" Torik asked. He was trying to be as helpful as possible to make up for the rudeness of before, and he hindered where he was, thinking he was trying to be too helpful. He was definatly making a very bad first impression and he hated that.
'Nope Im fine." She replied looking into the dark hallway and stepping out closing the door behind her before she realised one important thing, she had no idea how to navigate out of the maze. She stood their dumbfounded in the darkness before she finally opened to door again and went back into the lighted room. "Umm oh yeah I have this one problem umm can you navigate this place? And like take me downstairs?" She asked unhappily since she had to ask someone else to show her the way. How much of an idiot can she get!
"Yeah! Sure." He said, stepping past the girl and down the North Hallway. "Just over here." He said, he turned right into the West Hallway, and down the stairs. He went down three flights and went into the intersection, and he waited for her to catch up.
How did this monkey know so much?! I mean this place was huge and already he memorised the maze even in the dark halls and somehow managed to get downstairs. From then on she was sure she could navigate the city but it would be good to be shown around and she could trick this kid to do just that even though it was night time by now. "Oh yeah! My luggage isn't downstairs but its in the city in this one...hotel whcih is by a food place and I dont remember where it is exactly. You must know the one, right? Can you show me how to get there?" Good going Dina! Now she can find free food and a place to stay all in a days work! TAKE THAT MENTOR! I can survive more than you think!
Torik didn't like leaving the school, and he wasn't really familiar with the city. But he knew where they were, and knew some Hotels around. "Yeah, which hotel was it?" Torik asked. He went to the door quickly and opened the door, which lead to where he had been earlier. "I can walk you to the city if you want." Torik offered.
Dina inwardly smirked stepping out into the cool night air only pausing to consider an answer to the boys question and to wait for him to also come out of the building. "Well like I said before," she stated, "I don't really know anything about it but for the fact that it was right next to this resturaunt."
The caliginous luminosity of the night lolled the welkin as Dina stepped outside, the moon's incandescence kindled Dina's contour, and Torik had to admit she was beauteous. Torik knew few restaurants and the first one that came to mind that was near a Hotel was The Greasy Spoon. Torik ate there before he came to the school a few times, but stopped after joining the school. "Well, there's The Greasy Spoon. Did you leave it there?" Torik asked as he stepped out of the building and closing the door behind him, hoping she would say she did, because he didn't feel too good to walk around the city the whole night.
Torik grabbed a small timepiece out of his pocket and the small finger was on X, which meant it was around ten. He started walking toward the gates of the school and as he reached them he placed his hand on a small pad with a white grid covering it. It flashed green and a small number pad came to view and he entered in, 10161995, and the gate swung open robotically slow. A few charabancs being pulled by massive hounds strolled by, a man with a white beard peered at them through his bifocals with a smile waved at the two kindly and kept strolling along with his carriage pulled by four smaller hounds. He looked both ways as he was uneasy about the streets he hadn't walked on for over three years.
"Come on, it's just down the street." He said, straightening up. He waited for her to catch up and join him as he would escort her to the restaurant.[/li][/ul][/ul]
