CLAYTON LUCAS SAITTA
* Why does love always feel like a battlefield? You better go and get your armor. .
HEY THERE. THE NAME IS CAROLINE, AND I AM SEVENTEEN.
I'VE BEEN ROLEPLAYING FOR ABOUT TWO AND A HALF YEARS & I'M A INTERMEDIATE AFTER ALL THIS TIME. MY OTHER CHARACTERS WOULD BE PHINEAS ANDREW LEE. OH, BY THE WAY, I READ THE RULES. WANT PROOF?
THE CODE WORD IS ADMIN EDIT

[/ul][/ul]
- - - - hair, Shaggy and light brown.
- - - - built, Average, a little on the skinny side though.
- - - - height, 6’0”.
- - - - fashion sense, Nothing too specific. Clayton is willing to experiment with his wardrobe. He likes bright colors and dark colors, but usually he’s wearing dark colors. He also wears a lot of hats.
[/ul][/ul]
- - - - loathes, cranberry juice, guyliner, steak, bad excuses, pencils, too much alcohol, the sound of his voice when he has a cold, money, abuse, being an only child, hotels, talking about the past, feeling nauseous, religion, Mexican food, hard candy, admitting he’s homosexual, tripping, getting walked all over, obnoxious amounts of alcohol, the smell of marijuana, pain, math, his parents, oily skin, the fact that he’s a bad dancer, girls who hit on him, not being able to make someone happy, dark chocolate.
- - - - strengths,
-Clayton is incredibly intelligent. He always has a clever idea or a whitty phrase to throw into a conversation. A conversation with him almost never turns out to be a boring one.
-Clayton is a total sweetheart. He is the type that helps old women cross the street and would rather sit at home and read a book than go to a party and get smashed.
-Clayton has a strong set of morals, and a good head on his shoulders. He doesn't do drugs, he doesn't drink alcohol (often.), and he only smokes when he's really stressed about something.
- - - - weaknesses,
-For being as intelligent as he is, Clayton is pretty naïve. He tends to trust people easily, so he does get hurt a lot. And he will fall for the same trick twice, because he believes that everyone is genuinely good inside.
-Clayton is incredibly insecure about almost everything. In his mind he is just never good enough. He is never tall enough, or smart enough or good looking enough.
-At times Clayton can be a bit over-protective of the people that he cares about. He isn't usually the one to respond when someone tries to start a fight, but he doesn't tolerate people messing with the things or people that he loves.
- - - - dreams,
-To find someone he ‘truly loves’ so he can feel comfortable enough with himself to come out of the closet.
-To stick up to his parents. He’s tired of feeling like he isn’t good enough for them or anyone else.
-To close all of those camps that attempt to ‘de-gay’ kids. They don’t work, and it’s just wrong to try and do that to kids.
-To be fluent in six languages instead of five. He wants to speak German as well as English, Spanish, French, Greek, and Russian.
- - - - fears,
-Clayton is afraid to tell his parents that he dropped out of college to go to Kasabi and become a writer because he knows that they will pretty much disown him.
-Clayton is afraid that if he doesn’t study every day that he’ll forget one of the languages that he worked so hard to learn.
-Clayton is scared that if anybody finds out that he’s gay that they’re going to tell all his friends and they’ll all turn their backs on him or call him a freak.
- - - - overall personality,
SWEETHEART.
Clayton is definitely a sweetheart. There is something about him that just makes you want to pinch his cheeks and squeel 'Oh! Aren't you just precious!?' There's just something in his facial expressions or something that makes people genuinely sure that he is a good person, and he is a good person. He's the kind of boy that after you meet him the first thing you want to do is take him home to meet your mother. He’s humble, but he doesn’t display his horrific self-esteem to other people most of the time. Clayton shows a genuine interest in just about everyone, and is always there to lend a hand when someone needs help or an ear if they just need someone to complain to. Clayton is kind of like the Dr. Phil of his group of friends. Everybody knows to go to him if they have a problem and need someone to talk to. He has always felt that no one deserves to feel like they're alone in the world. So if people feel like they have no one else, they can at least have Clayton.
GENIUS-LEVEL.
Clayton had always been one of the smartest kids in his classes. When he was young, Clayton’s parents practically beat it into his head that only the smart will survive. They had started threatening him that he wasn't going to graduate high school and go to college and end up a bum on the streets, when he brought home one poor mark when he was in the second grade. Clayton hasn't gotten anything less than an A- since that day. And the A- was in his draw/paint two class because he turned in a project late. Clayton excelled throughout high school, and he holds quite a bit of knowledge up in the noggin of his. Most people at surprised that he is that intelligent, but is still socially capable of holding a good conversation with someone. But Clayton always enjoyed being the smart kid. Even if it was a beautiful day outside, Clayton always preferred to sit in his room or to sit out on his family's porch and read a Shakespeare play or love story. It didn't do much for his social life in elementary and middle school, but that never really bothered him all that much. As long as he had his favorite authors, he didn’t need anyone else. But when he made it into high school he took his nose out of the books for a while, although he still reads an unusual amount.
INSECURE.
No matter how great Clayton does when he's doing something, to him it will never good be enough. It doesn't matter what it is either. It could be anything from a new song lyric or guitar riff, to his term paper for college, it just isn't good enough. But after the years of verbal abuse, and almost zero encouragements from his over-religious and overbearing parents, it's no wonder that Clayton has issues with his self-image and self-esteem levels. And due to his stint in that ‘God camp’, or whatever their called, Clayton has issues with coming out of the closet. He’s able to admit that he’s gay if he’s talking to his own reflection and that is about the extent of who he’s going to confess to. Clayton may be a virgin, but he knows for a fact he doesn't like girls (in a sexual manner). He never has and he never will show any sexual interest in them. Boys are a different story. But Clayton just can't come out and say it. He knows that most people now-a-days don't have an issue with it; but for some reason Clayton feels like nobody, especially his closest friends, will accept him for who he really is.
DORKY.
Clayton has always fit under the category of a ‘good kid’. Most of the time he’ll do what he’s told without asking questions, and is just a bit sweetie. Clayton is pretty much the epitome of a dork. He reads Shakespeare, is fairly good at math, and he's still a virgin. But Clayton isn't the kind of dork that makes you want to avoid him because he's just so incredibly weird you can’t handle it or have any kind of fun with, but he is kind of socially awkward sometimes. He also enjoys really dorky things. He has written fan-fiction, and actually still does sometimes. He plays a lot of video games, and eats a lot of pizza. He is also known to say awkward things at the most random times. He hasn't totally grown up yet, but for him that kind of personality just seems to fit. Surprisingly enough, in high school Clayton had a lot of friends. They aren't as tight as Clayton and his street team are, but they hang out on the weekends and do stupid things together sometimes.
INNOCENT.
Clayton isn't your typical teenager rock lover in the least. While a great majority of rock stars and their fans lives revolve around the terms 'sex, drugs, and rock and roll', Clayton has avoided two of those three things, and another aspect that is important to the image. Clayton has completely sworn off drugs, and he rarely ever drinks alcohol. It isn't that those things aren't available. They are plentiful in supply. Clayton just doesn't like them, and he doesn't like what they do to people. Clayton is also a virgin. It definitely wasn't something that was forced upon him, it was a choice. When Clayton was convinced he was straight, he still chose to remain a virgin. He didn't want to lose it too soon. He wanted his first time to be special, with someone that he really loved. And after Clayton figured out he was gay, well...his parents scared him so much that he wouldn't dare think of having sex with a boy, and he still hasn't. The only person he's really touched sexually is himself, and he rarely does that.
THE BAD SIDE.
Unfortunately not everything about Clayton's personality is sugar and rainbows. This kid has a bad side that nobody would ever want to be on. With a camera by his side, and an incredibly sharp memory, Clayton could be every rock star and celebrities worst nightmare if he chose to be. And if they treat him rudely, he is their worst nightmare, they just don’t realize it. Like a large number of journalists out there, Clayton has an anonymous blog of his own. Ever heard of the blog that people call 'The Burn Book'? Title of course belonging to the wonderful movie 'Mean Girls'. Well yeah, that is totally written by Clayton. Possibly one of the worst celebrity-bashing blogs there is was written by a sweet little boy from Braintree. Clayton updates his blog every couple of weeks, and he prides himself in posting nothing but the truth. Well, and a few of his own speculations of course.[/ul][/ul]
- - - - family, Father- Thomas Sean Saitta
Mother – Michelle Sarah Coster
- - - - pets, A baby chinchilla – His name is Max =D
- - - - overall history, Thomas Sean Saitta and Michelle Sarah Coster were destined to be together from the very beginning. If you had seen them on the playground together, you would just have known that they were going to grow up and get married. They were practically famous in their hometown for being the most likely to grow up, get married and have lots of children. They won 'cutest couple' for senior superlatives, and individually they both won 'most attractive'. Thomas was the captain of the schools football team, and the all-American boy with a great smile. Michelle was the impossible head cheerleader. She was mean and conniving, and the only reason Thomas was dating her was because he just couldn't see the evil soul that everyone else did. He just assumed that when his friends told him that they were jealous because she was so attractive.
When high school ended, there was really only one thing left for Thomas to do. He proposed to Sarah on prom night, and they were married by the time Thomas started college. Just like they had the picture perfect relationship in high school, they had the picture perfect marriage. Thomas spent his time going to school and working, and Sarah worked as well. When Thomas finally finished up with college, they decided it was time to have their first and only child Clayton Lucas Saitta. Clayton was every parents dream. He always did what his parents asked him to, and he ate his fruits and veggies without even having to be told to. He got all A's throughout his school career. The only poor mark he had ever received was in grade school and that was quickly fixed. The same happened throughout grade school, middle school and high school.
Clayton stuck his hand into a ton of different subjects throughout middle school and even now that he has entered high school, and it is almost like he has the golden touch. The only things he isn't all that great at are wood shop and sculpture. But throughout his high school years Clayton managed to balance a lot of different extracurricular activities. He plays soccer, is a part of the drama program, is an active member of the student council, and still manages to make time for his friends. But other than school and hanging out with the people who would become his future employers, Clayton doesn't have much of a life. He rarely ever dates, and when he did it really isn't all that great, because he just isn't all that interested in girls. Now the boys on his soccer team are kind of a different story... He never actually dated any of them, but he does glance occasionally when they are in locker rooms.
Then 'it' happened right before he started high school. One day Clayton was tutoring a boy named Brandon towards the end of the school year for final exams. It was going great. Brandon was responding well to the instructions, and it looked like he was actually learning something. Clayton still isn't quite sure how it happened, but one minute Clayton was teaching the boy trigonometry, and the next thing he knew Brandon was kissing him. But to Clayton it was the first thing that had felt right in a while. Clayton had a few fumblings with a few different girls, but nothing really fit like he and Brandon did. Besides, in his opinion there was nothing wrong with a little healthy experimentation. So instead of pushing Brandon away, Clayton just kissed him back. Clayton knew that the boy was openly gay, but that didn't bother him at all. Clayton was a lot more accepting of different people than his parents or his other friends were.
And then his mom walked in with two heavy bags of groceries. Brandon tried to pull away so she wouldn't see, but he was too late. She was shocked that her all-star son was kissing another man. Not only was she shocked, but she was downright pissed. She practically threw the groceries on the floor, screamed for Brandon to get out and called Clayton’s father. Since Clayton didn't really see any problem with what he had been doing with Brandon, he just continued doing his homework. When his dad finally returned home, he had his wife went upstairs to have a talk with Clayton. The minute they got into his room his mom threw a fit. She started screaming about how their son was a homosexual, and how it was 'unnatural'. And although Thomas didn't appear to have a problem with that, Clayton was on a bus to one of those 'God camps' to 'cure him' by the time morning rolled around.
It was horrible there. Clayton still doesn't enjoy like talking about it. During his first month there, Clayton didn't speak a word to anybody there, except his to his room mate Anthony. Anthony was really the only one that Clayton had any kind of respect for. He was just so comfortable with himself. And the things that their ‘instructors’ said to them didn’t bother Anthony, while they absolutely tore Clayton apart. They talked down to him and just made him feel wrong. But Anthony was never affected, and he inspired Clayton. It wasn't until they kicked Anthony out before Clayton just couldn't take that place anymore. Apparently they had sent Anthony back to live with his parents, and his parents just didn’t accept him back. And despite his loads of respect for Anthony, Clayton couldn’t let the same thing happen to him. He started talking in his 'therapies', and he did exactly what he was told.
Being in that place was like being brain-washed, only it was worse because you knew exactly what you were doing when you were giving in and giving up. Because while Clayton would have been willing to accept being gay before, he wasn't willing to accept it as a personal quality anymore. And he was convinced that nobody else would either. Clayton was finally released from that hell-hole three months after her arrived, with an even more damaged self-image then he had before hand. When Clayton finally returned to school, he tried to get his life back to being as normal as it was before. When asked where he had been all that time, Clayton made up a lie and said his parents had sent him to Europe that summer. And although his friends seemed to accept it, it tore Clayton up inside to have to lie to them about it. But after what he had just gone through, he wasn't and still exactly willing to flaunt his homosexuality.
Clayton finished up high school with ease, graduating as the valedictorian of his entire class. He still hadn’t talked to his parents about what had happened at camp, and that was how they expected things to stay. All they knew was that the camp had worked, and that their son was no longer taking part in ‘lewd acts’, and they really felt that was all they really needed to know. Clayton got a full academic scholarship to Boston University, and there he entered the college of management. It didn’t take long to realize that college really wasn’t the right place for Clayton. Clayton needed to anywhere but where he was. When word got around to him about Kasabi island, Clayton was ecstatic. For some reason he could picture himself happy there. So he packed up his stuff, and just like that he was a college dropout. He didn't bother telling his parents, because they would just list reasons why he shouldn't drop out. And when he refused to listen, they would disown him. Clayton wasn't quite ready to completely cut himself off from his parents, so he got his old roommate to send letters for him.
Once Clayton arrived on the island he was almost immediately given a job at a magazine company. Suddenly he's interviewing some of the worlds biggest rock stars, and writing articles that are actually published. Clayton finally found where he belonged. Unfortunately, Clayton has found himself writing a not so nice blog as well. He hasn't written anything that isn't the truth...okay well maybe that's a lie. But the rock stars only bring it on themselves right?
