shake and shout!
let it out before it swallows you!
Will’s had a few good ideas in his lifetime and he’s had a few great ones. This one was a great one. He had managed to wrangle up his band, beg them to join him at the roller skating rink and join him in some wholesome 80s inspired fun. Well, as wholesome as you could get with a building full of hormonal teenagers and twenty-somethings. He had actually been surprised that he had come up with such a great idea. It wasn’t usual for them to be able tog et out and have some fun without any worries about anything other than who was driving, which, by the way, would be Will. On the condition that he be designated driver for the night, his band had agreed to come, but that was okay with him. He wasn’t a big drinker anyway. So, that was how all of them had come to be at the roller skating rink, which was already brimming with people dressed for the occasion in 80s inspired outfits as well as not very appropriate outfits, obviously getting the idea that there would be people from the bands around.[/size]
The roller skating rink was something unlike what Will had previously seen before. There were flashing lights and strobes and decorations everywhere. It looked as if an entire party supplies store had threw up in the room. He liked it. Roller skates had been doled out and paid for, courtesy of some very generous fans that decided paying for their skates would guarantee them something; a song, a bed, whatever. Will took his pair and found the nearest chair because he wasn’t dumb enough to try and put them on without a chair, ahem, Ross. The laces were a little more difficult for him to do so it took him a few moments, a long enough amount of time that his bandmates were already on the rink floor, enjoying themselves. He pouted for a moment, a little bummed that they wouldn’t get to see the surprise he had hidden under his inconspicuous jean, tee shirt, and hoodie combo outfit. But, he figured they would get to see when they saw him out on the floor, and that amused him.
He didn’t normally wear his booty shorts (he had more than one pair) off stage, but he figured that, given the theme of the rink, he could get away with it. Plus, it was always hilarious seeing other people’s reactions to them. Mainly because people usually took it in stride and had a few moments of amusement before going about what they were doing. Sure, there were the people that made fun of him, and he mostly ignored them, but when they did get to him, his bandmates were always there to console him and reassure him that he looked great in his booty short. So, he went out onto the rink and started skating, making sure to keep himself upright. He caught a glimpse of the girl that had bought his skates and waved, mentally giggling at her astonished look. He was so focused on that he hadn’t been paying attention to where he was going and crashed right into someone.
“Oh my god! I’m so sorry!” Were the first words that came out of his mouth. He rolled away from the person since he had fallen on top of them and looked at them, hoping they wouldn’t want to beat him up. “I wasn’t even paying attention because I was waving and I didn’t even see you. I’m sorry. You’re okay? Nothing’s broken?” he asked the figure. He wondered how much he could get sued for that he would be able to pay it. Not too much.
