she set down Quinn on her bed with Felix who flicked his tail as she adjusted her bikini, then stretched lightly as she then pulled on her white shorts, putting on some slight sun tan lotion before tying her hair up so she wouldn't get a funny tan on her back from all her hair. The hair some people had told her to get cut - she would - eventually, or maybe just trimmed. Pursing her lips slightly, she eyed her two dogs, and patted them both on the head before tucking her pink towel into her yellow beach bag, along with her ipod and some snacks and two water bottles. Her plan was to spend the whole day at the beach if possible. At least she knew the bartender who worked on the beach, he'd let her keep her rollerblades there. It was hot out, but not hot enough to where she couldn't rollerblade herself there, instead of burning the fuel in her car. Grabbing her white hat, she laughed, she always enjoyed the looks she got with this, placed it lightly on her head, adjusted her bikini straps and placed her bag over her shoulder as she headed downstairs, tucking her flip flops into her bags along with everything else. Spotting her lime-green wheeled blades, she strapped them on in her driveway, then reached up to close her garage door, having locked the back and front doors already. Grinning to her dogs who were watching her in the window, she waved, before taking off down the street, forgetting to wear any protective gear - but she was usually fine, it was mostly downhill and hardly any traffic how she got there. Gliding along the sidewalk, the blonde sighed, enjoying the rush of the air she felt. Slowing down as she approached the side walk that was attached to the beach, she noticed a bunch of skater guys, and grinned lightly, recognizing a few of them from Kill the Lights shows, but when she noticed them looking a little too long her way, she immediately scrammed, taking off her blades in the process as she entered one of her favorite places to be. Being Australian on her dad's side, she had a tan skin year-round, though not too dark, and didn't burn as easily as most other people did. Pushing her sunglasses up her nose, she took off her hat as she approached the bar, and inquired, handing the bartender her roller blades, "Could you keep an eye on them for me please?" she smiled innocently, and he nodded, "Fine, fine, Jynxie." she grinned, "Thank you!" as she slid on her flip flops and heaed out onto the sand to pick a spot to lay out for awhile. Placing her pink towel down, she put her bag on one end and her hat with her flip flops on her hat on the other to help hold it down. Glancing around, adjusting her sunglasses, she headed out towards the water - the beach was quite crowded, though not uncomfortably crowded for her liking. Noticing a few couples near the water, she paused, anxiously, nervously before inching in and checking the water temperature, it was a little cold, but still decently warm nonetheless. Making a mental note to go for a swim in awhile, the blonde slid off her shorts, revealing the rest of her blue bikini before dumping them on the towel and heading towards a game of beach volleyball. Waving to them, she smiled as she managed to get onto a team, and spike the ball a few times, the large beach ball making it difficult for the high school volleyball player, but she did well anyway. Laughing lightly, she hugged a few of the girls she knew from some parties, before spinning as they did, laughing as their boyfriends watched, before they all spotted - skaters. The skate boards rumbled along the sidewalk, and Jynx - being the outgoing person she was, though shy all the same, smiled, before getting up, and waving bye to the others as she set off towards the bar for something else to drink, maybe something fruity, nothing alcoholic, first she wasn't old enough, second - she didn't like what alcohol did. The sand squished beneath her feet, enjoying the feeling of it on her feet, as she brushed back the hair that she hadn't managed to put up with the rest of it, and asked, sitting on the stool, both sides on each of her were empty, "What are you serving down?" the guy responded, "Everything, just no alcohol." she nodded, and responded, "Just a strawberry daquiri then, please, hold the lime and alcohol of course." though, she turned slightly when she heard someone approach her. Phineas Andrew Lee ! Cause the proof is in the kodak, the throwbacks in a dark and vacant corner. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -It had started as a low humming in the back of his dream. But it quickly turned into some kind of pounding techno music that managed to make the twenty-three year old blonde practically jump out of sleep. Where was the noise coming from? And more importantly how did he make it stop!? Phineas wasn’t even sure what he was supposed to do at that point. So he just did the first thing that came to mind. “HIT THE DECK!” Phineas attempted to leap out of his bed and get out of the room. But the boys’ legs were, as usual tangled around his sheet. He crashed down to the ground, his face smacking the ground hard. The noise practically echoed through the house. The blasting techno music was paused a moment later, and laughter poured into the room and in the doorway stood Finny’s band mate. Pulling his face off of the hard ground, Phineas almost growled at the younger male. “SANDERS YOU’RE SUCH A DICK.” The boy didn’t say anything, instead turning and running down the hallway, the radio still in his hand. Phineas rubbed the sides of his temples, as the throbbing started to slow and wither. He pulled himself off of the floor, attempting to get his hair out of his face.
When Finny finally managed to get the blonde mop of hair out of his face, Phineas grabbed his phone from the jeans he had been wearing the night before. There were one or two from different groupies asking where he was and why he wasn’t at ‘this great party’. And there were a few texts from some kid named Kyle. The drummer had met this Kyle kid a while back at a show and he seemed like a pretty alright guy. He was some skateboard punk though, and he wasn’t all that nice to females. Now Phineas may have been a liar and a cheater, and he may have been called ‘the scum of the earth’ a few times, but he had never shown disrespect towards any woman. He had never raised hand towards any female, and he never had the nerve to call them derogatory names like ‘bitch’ or ‘skank’. That simply wasn’t how things were done in the house of Phineas, and he intended to keep things that way. But somehow, Phineas had managed to see Kyle do both at one party. So instead of accepting Kyle’s invitation to skateboard on the pier via text, he simply ignored it. He easily could have lied to the kid if he was confronted and said his phone had started dropping texts recently. Finding nothing on his phone that was semi-entertaining he tossed the phone back onto his bed sighing deeply.
Following his normal routine, Phineas descended the stairs and made his way to the kitchen. Fortunately nobody was in there, and Phineas could make and eat his stack of blueberry pancakes in peace. And that was exactly what he did. After about thirty minutes, Phineas found himself back in his room with absolutely nothing to do. He glanced at the phone that sat abandoned in the same place he had dropped it on his bed. Phineas weighed the option of calling Kyle and telling him that Phineas was going to join him and his friends at the beach. But Phineas didn’t want to be stuck spending the rest of the day with a group of skateboard creeps. So instead, he decided he’d take his chances and go to the beach anyway. He already has his excuse if he ran into Kyle or any of the kids friends. And even if he didn’t already have his excuse planned it wouldn’t have matter. They were a bunch of kids, what were they going to do? Hit him with their teddy bears? Phineas had an unusually large amount of confidence when it came to those things. He realized that they had skateboards, and that getting hit with a skateboard hurt…a lot. But they wouldn’t risk it. Like him blowing them off was that big of a deal anyway.
It took Phineas all of five minutes before he was dressed and on his way out the door. One of his skateboards was perched against the doorway, and Phineas made sure he grabbed it on his way out. Phineas had never liked driving. He had never really liked cars all that much either. In Finny’s world there wasn’t all that much of a need for them. His skateboard provided miraculous transportation, and it allowed him to actually be outside. Cars were for sissies. Luckily for Phineas the beach wasn’t that far from the Containment household. Phineas had always loved being outdoors. And this love of being outdoors increased ten-fold when it came to the beach. Phineas hadn’t really had to opportunity to go to the beach all that often when he lived in Nevada. Because land-locked states were the lamest. So now that he lived only a mile or so away Phineas went almost every other day. He just wished he had his boat there. If he did, he would hold boat parties all the time, and they would be so sick. And people would be like ‘OH MAN PHINEAS THIS IS THE COOLEST PARTY EVER.’ And Phineas would be cool and nod and sip casually at his beer. Yeah, that’d be rad.
Phineas was finally pulled out of his thoughts when the gravel he had been skating on turned to sand quite quickly. His skateboard stopped abruptly, his towel fell out of his hand and he almost came crashing down on his face…again. But that time he managed to catch and steady himself. When he had regained his balance he grabbed his towel and skateboard from the ground, before making his way towards the small bar/snack shack thing they had going on there. Phineas didn’t actually know the bartender, but Phineas was a naturally friendly guy, and typically people liked naturally friendly guys. He could just toss it in the back and make sure no one took it, and Phineas would be eternally grateful. There weren’t many people inside, understandable. Who came to the beach to hang out in the snack shack bar place that Phineas didn’t even know what he should have called. There was however one girl sitting at the bar. Phineas couldn’t help but grin at the thought of a new friend. Why shouldn’t he go and introduce himself? Phineas loved making new friends. Phin crossed the bar and dropped himself into the seat next to hers. His legs hung off the barstool and were placed on top of the skateboard. he dropped the towel on the seat next to his and turned his head so he was looking at the girl. “Hola.” Finny’s face was turned upwards into his signature bright smile as he greeted the girl next to him. wouldn't be fun in the tabloids. Flinching at this thought, she spun in the bar stool, and grinned to the bartender, and inquired, since there were only a few other people in the snack shack, which half of it was like outside, just covered with a thatch-straw top, "How's the degree coming, Luke?" she grinned politely and the guy finished cleaning a few shot glasses before responding, putting his hands up on the counter, "Not too bad, soon I'll be able to leave this island and start my own business." Tilting her head, she frowned and asked curiously, "Why not stay here?" He gave her a 'are-you-stupid' look, before answering, shaking his head, "There are bigger and better things out there, you just have to be willing to go get them."With that said, her bubbliness popped and her eyes drifted slightly, remembering that. It was true - she'd always been afraid to venture outside of her comfort zone once in awhile. There were the boys - Owen - and her family, her brother and pets. Then the band she was in. Would she be able to get off the island, if she was just a groupie? She thought she could, she'd never tried, having heard plenty of bands had tried and failed - epicly too. Sighing softly, she let him return to his work as she let her long legs dangle over the front of the stool as she remained there, finishing off her drink, pulling off her sunglasses and placing them on top of her head to keep them out of her eyes. No one liked a funny tan line from their sunglasses, she remembered her dad, Jasper had gotten that once when they'd gone to the Caribbean, and he had to put on some of Amanda's make-up, that is, before she left to help smooth out the obvious tan line from everything. Snickering to herself at this memory, Jynx pushed her finished drink away, feeling the slight buzz she received from it, like she always did with strong fruity drinks from here. Though, she looked up perplexed with a newcomer entered with a mop of blonde hair. God - she'd admit, she had a thing for guys with either dark hair or lighter hair, the in-between was all right, but they had to be able to....have it. This guy had the lighter side. Mentally slapping herself, she thought of Owen. God - those eyes. She sighed softly, then realized she had company, blushed and eyed the blonde as he sat down. Brushing her own blonde hair from her eyes and behind her ear, she smiled lightly, and greeted him back, always interested to meet other people, though usually they had to be the ones who initiated the conversation, like he kind of did, "Hola a ti." she smiled sheepishly, and added, gesturing to where he'd put his skateboard only moments before, behind the counter where she knew her rollerblades were, "Don't worry, Luke here's awesome with faces, so only you will get your board back, right Luke?" she smiled and the bartender grunted, then asked the guy, "Can I get you anything?" Jynx let him order, before she smiled lightly, and added, "I'm Jynx, Jynx Gregory."[/ul]

Phineas Andrew Lee ! Cause the proof is in the kodak, the throwbacks in a dark and vacant corner. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Phineas had to admit he was surprised that the girl he had just greeted was so pleasant when she returned his greeting. Not that he was expecting her to be rude or like super mean or anything. That wasn’t normally the reaction he received. Normally he got a confused and slightly freaked out stare. So he would have to introduce himself to snap them back into the real world. So when this girl answered him back in Spanish, it was Finny’s turn to be surprised. Instead of looking at her like she was crazy, he grinned stupidly, just like always. For a second there Phineas had forgotten that he had even brought his skateboard. it had become a habit of his to just drop the skateboard on the ground and rest his feet on top of it. According to some people it almost seemed like Finny’s feet never actually touched the ground. Well at least that was what everyone else said. Phineas however knew his feet touched the ground. His face had also touched the ground quite a few times from him trying to get up and forgetting the skateboard was there. It had also happened from skateboarding, or just being the regular old clumsy Phineas that he was. You had to love that he tried though.
Phineas hopped off of the barstool and grabbed his blue and yellow skateboard off of the ground. Phineas always chose the strange skateboards when he bought a new one. He would pick the ones with bright colors or pictures of aliens. Sometimes he got lucky and he found bright colors and aliens on the same skateboard. Sure, Finny was definitely a strange kid, but in a good way. The good way that could make you happy or at least make you laugh once or twice. “Oh really? Like if you don’t mind.” Phineas outstretched a hand over the bar towards the man. The other man just grunted again as he took the skateboard from Finny and placed it on the table with her skates. “Thanks man.” Phineas smiled at the other man and placed his lanky body back onto the bar stool. He took a second to situate himself. It was a strange feeling not having the wheeled contraption beneath his feet. Phineas was used to his feet jerking back and forth because of different bumps or lines on the floor. It was a lot smoother, but Phineas kind of missed the feeling.
He took a second to think before answering the guy behind the bar. He contemplated which way he should go. Did he want to get totally trashed in the morning? Or wait until later that night? Just to be on the safe side, in case Containment had a show that he had ‘forgotten’ about …again, Phineas decided he would save getting trashed for that night. It wasn’t like Phineas to play safe, but doing a show either drunk or hung-over was not a fun experience. And that was ESPECIALLY true when you played the drums. He had definitely learned his lesson the last time. “I’ll just go with a Mountain Dew sir.” Typical skater kid drink. But Phineas couldn’t deny the delicious frosty treat that was THE DEW.
Phineas chuckled a bit at how Jynx introduced herself. There was a James Bond quality to it. And nothing was better than a James Bond introduction. Nothing. Okay well maybe a few things. not that point though. “Sorry, I just felt like you should have like put on your glasses and like taken them off when you repeated your name. Like this.” Phineas reached a hand to grab the yellow sunglasses that were practically camouflaged with his blonde hair. THAT was how bright his hair was. Phineas had originally had brown hair. It was nice and he looked alright with it, it was just so boring. So being the person that he was, Phineas chose to dye it bright blonde. And being the people that everyone else was, they loved it. And when Phineas made other people happy he made himself happy. It was pretty much a rule. “My name is Phineas.” Phineas lifted a hand and pulled the glasses of his face dramatically. He put on his best model face and dropped the yellow glasses onto the bar. “Phineas Lee.” The model pout only lasted a moment of course. When it dropped, Finny’s grin returned and he laughed a little bit.
