You’ve got a piece of me, & honestly, My life would suck without you …………………
Josie had always been one of those girls to sleep in, well ever since she joined the band. The reason for this was simple; she was always out the previous night partying and drinking until probably 3 or 4 in the morning. She knew it was bad to go to bed so late. She was always getting lectures on how she was still in that age that she needed to get a lot of sleep blah blah blah. She never listened to those people who lectured her. In fact, if you lectured her about anything, even if it was something she was interested in, she would never listen. That’s just the way she was. She grew tired of people telling her she couldn’t wear this or do that. So from early on she began to ignore what people said about her most of the time. I mean, someone out there will always have a bad comment to say about you, so its better to just grow big shoulders and toughen it out. In her dreamlike state she was thinking of all these things. It was when her alarm clock started buzzing that she awoke with a start. All of these thoughts poofed off while her current thought was ‘why the hell was her alarm set?’. She swatted at her alarm clock, missing a few times before she hit her target sending it across the room and crashing on the floor. She probably broke it into a bunch of pieces by doing this but she didn’t care. She couldn’t remember setting the alarm, it could always be a prank. She wasn’t sure. She was too tired to even think about it at the moment.
She then sat up abruptly as a thought entered her brain. She had thought that Owen must’ve done a horrible prank like tell her that they didn’t have a show and they did today or something like that. She jumped out of bed to start wandering around the house. She checked in Owen’s room seeing that it was empty. That was typical, he was always getting up and leaving to wherever he wanted to go. Usually he got up early to leave quick before Josie woke up to one of his pranks. This always made her wary of waking up like the time she woke up to hundreds of posted notes all over her walls with horrible stuff written on them. Well, that was yesterday. She padded over to Chris’s room. She could usually use him as a guide if she needed to get up or not because he normally slept in as long as she did since they both were up the previous night, well into morning. His door was shut and she wasn’t sure if she wanted to open it because who knew what she would find in there. Yes, she found that Chris sometimes brought girls back to the house and opening the door to find a naked pair was not fun. She cautiously opened the door a crack sighing in relief when no girl was sprawled out naked. Well at least they weren’t having a show today. She walked back to her room rubbing her eyes. Time to get ready.
It took her about an hours worth of time just to take a shower and get dressed. By the time she did her hair and ate breakfast/lunch it was pushing 2 hours. A girl has a look gorgeous right? Yeah, yeah. She wondered what she was going to do today. It was one of those days that the whole band had off. Normally she would go to the beach or shopping but those didn’t appeal to her today. Then she remembered seeing something that one of the bands were performing at the theme park today. It wasn’t them but another band. She could always go and watch them. Well they weren’t actually playing to a little later. She then had a brilliant idea. Why not have the whole Kill the Lights band have a little fun day at the theme park. She hadn’t spent a lot of time with the whole band lately, other than practices, and she was craving some time with them. Well except for Owen that is, but that was a whole different story altogether. She grabbed her phone and texted all the band members, except Owen, groupies, and crew members ‘Meet at the theme park at 1 sharp, get ready to rock the roller coasters. XOXO, Josie’. She then left the house with her sunglasses on and her purse slung on her shoulder. She had an hour to burn before they met at the park. What to do? She decided to go to the coffee shop and get a mocha before going to the park.
Josie was one of those girls that could hold a grudge if she wanted and then at times she can forgive so easily. When it came to Owen’s little pranks, she usually forgave him pretty fast. None of his pranks were ever really that harmless anyway. This time though, he had gone too far. He had told a whole cafeteria full of people that she was pregnant. Not only did it put her and the band at risk of getting a bad reputation from the press but getting pregnant while she is young is one of her biggest fears. Owen had known that that hit close to home and he had just stabbed at it. It had hurt, yes but she was more angry at him then anything. She knew him well enough that she could get him back even worse than what she had did with his tires but right now she wanted to take a break from pulling pranks on him. For now she was just not going to invite him to this gathering, yes that would show him that she was still mad at him. She was sure that someone else would invite him but she wasn’t going to. After she got her mocha she got in her car and drove to the theme park. The parking lot was fairly packed seeing that a band was performing. She found a spot in the way back. Yes she had legs, she could walk. She sipped her mocha as she walked up to the theme park entrance. She looked at the people with her sunglasses on, to shield her eyes from the sun, of course. She bought her ticket and walked in. She eyed a few guys with their girlfriends who were trying to convince the girls to go on the huge roller coasters. Yes, she loved the big roller coasters, being up so high in the air never freaked her out. It was just the spinny roller coasters that she couldn’t do. As she was waiting for everyone else to arrive she twittered ‘At the theme park. Waiting for everyone else. Anyone want to come hang with us?’.

OPEN UP YOUR MIND AND SEE LIKE ME, open up your plans and man you're free. _____________________________________ Honestly - she missed her own home. The groupie house was nice - don't get it wrong, but sometimes, she liked sleeping in her own bed. Curling up, the lanky-limbed young woman rolled over, before eying the few other things in her room here. There wasn't much, her vanity mirror, bed, closet, dresser and a desk. It was nicely designed though, with her adding her own touch to spice things up in there. Grinning to herself, the blonde then hopped up and headed across the hall - being the Main Groupie had perks, she got the bedroom closest to the bathroom. Showering, she curled a towel around herself, as well as her head, hey - she did her laundry. Jynx then dressed into short jeans shorts and a tank-top, her usual outfit when she went out and did random things. Today would be one of those days - since she knew the band didn't have a practice or show - thankfully. Usually for practices she went, mainly to support them, especially Owen and Josie, her two good friends, who were - unfortunately, having a little fight or something lately. From what she heard from someone, they'd been playing pranks on each other, and Owen had gone a little far with Josie, causing her to snap, and Chris had to pick him up. Shaking her head softly, she blow-dried her hair before hearing her phone go off.
Scrambling around to get it, she yelped as she tripped. Not the most graceful person, she snatched it and noticed it was a text from Josie, saying for all the band members of Kill the Lights to go to the themepark. Jynx texted her back immediately, "I'm on my way." she then forwarded it to Owen with an added sentence from her, a copy of it in the text, "You going? I hope you are. =D" She added a smiley face and felt butterflies in her stomach, knowing Owen was probably already up and doing something. She pondered as she slid on her shoes, tucking her phone into her purse for the day. The themepark. God - she loved the rides - somewhat. She could ride a few before she got sick. She vividly remembered the last time she'd gotten drunk - and the only time, then went for a ride, and threw up on the cute guy next to her. Thankfully it hadn't been Owen, or she would never be able to forgive herself. Though, thinking of Owen, she just hoped that neither he nor Josie would try and put her in the middle of their...disagreement. A knot formed in her throat - she hated when friends got into little snippets, but it couldn't be helped. Maybe she could smooth things over. Hoping on that, she then gathered up her things and got into her Charger, heading to Panera to get something to eat.
Parking, Jynx debated on why exactly Josie had chosen there. Getting out her phone, she texted Josie, who was under the group in her phone as a BFF, "Hey Jos! =D I'll be there, want me to bring anything?" she smiled as she stood in line for a few, then ordered a Cinnamon Crunch Bagel and Hazelnut cream cheese. Sitting in her car, she munched on it silently, pulling on her sunglasses over her nose, brushing aside her stubborn side-bangs. Hearing her phone go off with a ringtone, she checked her texts, smiled silently to herself, before turning her car on after finishing off her bagel. Oh, she wasn't one of those girls who ate all the time and stayed skinny, or who counted the calories she consumed. No way. Jynx was way too lazy - somewhat - to do that anyway. She worked it off, or so she hoped, by hiking, dancing and just moving around a lot more than most people. Cleaning off her fingers with a napkin, she spotted Josie's, car, laughed to herself and parked next to it. Locking her doors, she eyed the themepark, and inhaled slowly, then exhaled, calming herself down.
Sauntering almost - to the entrance, she got in and soon found her way to Josie, spotting her good friend. Sneaking up on her, Jynx grinned and mused, "Hiya, Jos." she hugged the band member, and grinned shyly, "Are you Twittering?" she grinned. She hadn't really ever gotten into that sort of thing, she still stuck with MySpace and Facebook, seeing Facebook was a lot like Twitter. Wasn't it? She did like Tumblr though, that was always fun to post pictures she took all over the island, texting her status to Facebook, she then lifted her gaze beneath her sunglasses to peer at Josie curiously, and spoke, softly, hoping not to get on her bestie's bad side, she knew what could happen, "I...heard about what happened at the mall." that's all she said, eying Josie silently, to see what her reaction would be. Glancing around, she sighed softly, and inquired, "Who do you think is going to come?" ; 800+ tag; kill the lights peeps outfit; click heresong; nothin' credits; template - becca.x of caution i'm yours, jason mraz for the song lyrics. notes; <-- fail sorry it's short, but i got it done. xD [/ul]

We were all meant for so much more than this No more turning back, no more giving in..
Chris heard his door being opened. One thought came across his head. Josie. Of coarse she was the one to wake him up. Being a light sleeper and all, he got up rubbing his eyes. ‘I could’ve slept in all day today.’ he walked himself to the bathroom. Coming back into his room, he pulled his shirt off. He went to his drawers looking for another shirt, he found a ‘Dance Gavin Dance’ shirt, and slid that on. He looked around looking for his phone. Chris jumped on his bed, reaching over to his phone. Acting like a little kid again was real fun. He got a text message for Josie, telling him the theme park. “Oh dayumm Josie.” he kinda said out loud. Chris hopped off his bed, and to his closet. Chris came back, wearing a pair of his skinny jeans.
The boy walked to the living room, looking for his converses. He then texted Josie back ‘I’m coming.’ Chris found his shoes by the door, he slipped those on. Once he had all his clothes, he went back to his room, for his sunglasses. Chris put them on, he then walked out to his car, not checking on his other band mates. He was always to himself, so, and he never had the thought that they would talk to him. Except when he brought girls home. He shrugged all his thoughts off, then put his phone in his pocket, and opened his car door. Chris slid in his car. He started it, then pulling out of the drive way, he had gotten another text when he was driving. Chris headed to the theme park, the text would have to wait.
When Chris got there, he stopped the car, in a parking spot. Then he pulled out his side kick, and looked at the text, it was his mother. She asked him what he was up to. Chris replied. ‘Going to the theme park.’ and sent it to his mom. He got his keys out from his car, he put them in his back pocket. Chris got out of his car, he locked the door, and shut it behind him. Then he headed for where Josie was, he pulled his phone out. While he was paying for his ticket in, he texted Josie asking, ‘Where are you?’ Chris sent it, and then walked into the theme park.
He looked around, hoping to dear god no one will notice who he is. Chris walked around the theme park, seeing if he did see Josie before he got her text. Nothing. The bright sun on Chris’ face was burning a little. So he walked into the Gift Shop, to buy some sun screen. After he got the sun screen, he took a little bit of it, and rubbed it on his face. Chris put the little bottle in his pocket. As soon as he will see Josie, she’ll want to hold it, or not. He really didn’t want to carry around a sun screen, bottle. Looking like a mother, that needs to give her children loving care, and not get hurt by the sun. He walked around looking at all the rides, and none the less the girls.
Chris was into both of the sexes, but mostly girls. Why do you think he brought some home sometimes, and he was drunk, so he barely had a choice. Chris felt his phone go off again, of coarse it would be his mom, he looked at his phone. It was his mom texting him back saying, ‘Have fun. I love you lotsies.’ Chris texted his mom saying ‘ I love you too mom. I’ll call you tonight.’ then he slid his phone back into his pocket. He found a bench, he sat down. Chris looked around. He started to pat his pocket, yep. Chris brought his Ipod with him, he was never seen with out the thing.
His Ipod was green. Chris pulled it out, and started to listen to the music he had on his Ipod. Only the best, and the favorite bands of Chris’ was on it. He always had to get a new Ipod, ‘cause he would fill the first, or second one he had up. So that was really no point in buying the first, or second one ‘cause he’ll just fill it up. The ones he had before the green one. He signed them and gave them away to kids. Chris thought it would be a good idea, since he has no use for it anyway. And it was an easy way to get rid of them.

whispering words of wisdom let it be, let it be, let it be Quite frankly, Owen was not in the best mood today. Not that most of it had to do with the day, more like the day before. While almost all of that was his fault, as he had clearly gone a bit overboard at the mall with Josie yesterday, and ended up having to call Chris to drive him home. Not for reasons most people in their early twenties have to be driven home for. No. His tires had been slashed. Of all things she could have done, Josie chose that. On the bright side, there were worse things she could have done, but that still caused him to beg their bassist to drive him from the auto shop for new tires and back to the mall again. Josie should be pretty happy. He’d ended up spending over three hundred dollars that day, and that was only from things he bought after they left the mall. Hence, he wasn’t majorly happy. Now that he thought about it, most of the band wasn’t in a terribly great mood yesterday. Josie for the whole mall episode, him also from the mall thing, and Chris as a result of the mall thing. Good thing they didn’t have a concert; he wasn’t sure Josie would have enough self-control to be nice to him on stage. Not to mention the possibility there was a press member in the food court yesterday, who could easily be asking the band on stage about Owen and Josie’s “child”. Ew. As horrible as that sounded out of context, it sounded even worse when he knew about the circumstances. If he thought about that any more, Josie was paying for the mental scarring he received.
So it was no surprise that Owen had gotten up early, showered, and left the house before the rest of the band was up. Even if Josie was going to be somewhat tolerant of him today – which he highly doubted – he wasn’t going to take any chances. It was another day without any practices or concerts, so there wasn’t too much to do. Honestly, it was days like these that he took his boredom out on the band, but the only thing he would get from that this morning was be a black eye. And that was if they were being nice. Instead, he hopped into his car with the nice brand new tires – thanks, Josie. Thanks a lot – and drove off, just loudly enough to hopefully wake up Josie, who had gotten home late last night with Chris. Then he stopped, turning back, after he remembered that he’d left his phone inside. Running back into the house and picking up his phone, he paused at Josie’s doorway. Yes, she was pissed at him, but she had made him spend three hundred freaking dollars on tires, so it would be unfair if he didn’t do anything. While she was sleeping peacefully, he set her alarm clock for nine, assuming that was early enough to wake Josie up, since the car didn’t seem to have done the trick.
Then he resumed his dramatic exit, only to find out once he pulled onto the street that he had no idea where he was going. Instead of dwelling on that, he turned on the radio, and decided he might as well get a smoothie or something. By the time he got to his favorite smoothie place, his phone vibrated, and he mentally thanked himself for getting it, as the message was from Jynx. Or, partly. It was a forwarded invitation from Josie, explaining that the band was going to the themepark. Well, that would be nice. If he had gotten a text from Josie. She was apparently still pissed at him. Normally he’d just forget it, but Jynx had added a line saying she hoped he was going. And, no, Josie wasn’t going to scare him away from actually enjoying himself. So he texted back, “Haha, I’ll be there.” Yes, he was a bit scared that Josie would still be somewhat homicidal, but it wasn’t like she’d get away with stabbing him in front of that many people. If anything, he should have been afraid last night.
Drinking his smoothie, he went back to his car. If they were supposed to be there at one, he had another hour. That was plenty of time, since he could get to the park within ten, and be in the gates in another ten. Finally finished with stalling almost forty minutes later, he turned the engine on and pulled out of the place. Maneuvering to reach for his phone, drive, and hold onto the smoothie, he shifted slightly, before grabbing the phone. Within a few seconds, he had texted Jynx again. “Almost there. Where are you guys?” Five minutes later, he was looking for a parking. He almost pulled into a spot near the back, before realizing it was beside Josie’s car. Uh, no thanks. He wasn’t that stupid. Instead he found a parking closer to the front, yet partially hidden from the park’s exit. He didn’t particularly want his car getting trashed again. Not seeming to have a reply from Jynx yet, he started into the themepark. He found Jynx easily enough, and then cringed inwardly. Oh, great. Josie was already here as well, obviously.

You’ve got a piece of me, & honestly, My life would suck without you …………………
This girl was never much of a waiting type of person. This was clear on many occasions. At the mall with Owen he had used this against her to wait in a long line in Old Navy. That wasn’t the only other time either like waiting in traffic jams. It was little things also like waiting for the stop light to change from red to green or waiting for a song or video to download. She knew being inpatient was a huge downfall for being in a band. There were plenty of times when the band had to wait before they go on stage or they have to wait for sound check. Overall there was just a lot of waiting involved in her career. She read her friends texts when they texted saying they were coming. She texted Jynx back saying that she didn’t have to bring anything. The other band members never seemed to mind the wait or they never showed there impatience like she did. Well they often suffered from her impatient because she would normally do random things to occupy herself, some of them rather loud or harmful to the other band members. Pranking Owen often past the time quite well but it always had it’s repercussions of him pranking her back. Sometimes she’d attempt to make up new dance moves, while some were cool most were hideous. Now while she was waiting for everyone to arrive she started to get ansy. It had been 5 minutes and she was already bored waiting. She eyed a few kids with merchandise and thought maybe she should shop while she was waiting.
She was saved from spending a bunch of her money when she felt someone sneak up on her. She was almost afraid it would be Owen but she was proved wrong when she turned to see the familiar face of her best friend Jynx “ Jynxie!” she hugged her friend back, she was so glad to have her friend here. They had been friends since like forever and she definitely enjoyed every minute they spent together other than those short little tiffs they had. See most friendships lasted for a while but then fell to the wayside once something happened like moving to college or moving. Josie was pretty sure that even if either one of them moved, she would still visit Jynx at least once a week. She knew that she couldn’t live without having her there for when times got tough. She could hit herself for not just inviting Jynx so that she could vent all about Owen. Well that probably wouldn’t be the best because Josie was starting to sense something was going on between those two. She glanced down at her phone where she had just sent a tweet. “ Of course! Though I’m pretty sure nobody actually reads them. I mean, I’m not that famous” she spoke while slipping her phone into her pocket. She never put her phone in her purse because that was so out of reach that if it rang she’d have to go digging through it. This way, she could grab it quickly if she got a text or phone call.
She wasn’t surprised when Jynx spoke about the incident at the mall. Josie didn’t really get to talk to Jynx about this whole incident since it happened the day before. That was unlike herself because usually when one of these things happened, she would go to Jynx right away. In fact she wasn’t even sure why she hadn’t called Jynx. She was probably too mad to even dial the phone, who knows. The plain fact was; she was never going to put Jynx on her bad side for Owen’s mistake. Yes, they were all close friends but Jynx did nothing wrong. Besides, she could never really stay mad at Jynx for more than a days worth. She normally forgave Owen quickly too, but not this time. “ Yeah. He deserved everything he got for it. He’s such an ass at times” she spoke the truth. Yes, Jynx may be crushing on him but Josie wasn’t and she had all the right to say that. She was glad to have a text so she didn’t have to say anything more on the subject. Right now, she was just trying to not talk about it, like that was going to happen. It was Chris, he was on his way. She glanced at Jynx after putting her phone in her pocket “ Well I just got a text from Chris, he’s coming. Hollis will come I’m sure.” She purposely left out Owen. She really hoped nobody invited him.
This thought was cut short when an all too familiar brunette appeared in her vision. She felt her blood go cold, not in fright, but in anger. She just stood there staring at him, unable to move. She was sure Jynx would feel her go stiff. When she got her limbs to move again she spoke loudly enough, not sure if he heard or not “ What the hell is he doing here?” she was thinking that Chris couldn’t have invited him, maybe Hollis. Then she glanced over at Jynx, realization washing over her. She now was staring at Jynx accusingly “ You invited him? You did, didn’t you?!” she shook her head “ You know he’s on the top of him murder list right now right?” she blinked a few times hoping he would disappear but no such luck. She was tempted to go over and start beating him up, yeah she could do that. She wouldn’t even feel bad in doing it too. Her murder plans were interrupted by her phone vibrating. She grabbed it and glanced, it was Chris asking where she was. She texted back ‘I’ll come and find you” she was glad for any excuse to get away from Owen and fast. “ I’m going to find Chris.” She took a few steps before speaking softly to herself mostly “ He should be glad for me going to find Chris. It gives him a few more minutes to live” she stalked off in the other direction.
The more she walked the more she calmed down. Yes, she was still mad at him but hey at least she wasn’t alone with him. If she was, she’d no doubt tear him apart. She was coming to a part where there was a lot of benches and she was sure that Chris would be sitting on one of them. She was looking around when a little girl shyly came up to her ‘Hi. Can I have an autograph, Josie’ the way the little girl asked her with such innocence and sincerity, it made her smile. She never turned down a fan, ever. “ Of course, sweetie” this girl must’ve been no older than 5 or 6, how she knew their band, she wasn’t sure. She signed the little piece of paper that the girl had. “ Here would you like a bracelet” the girls eyes shone from this and started nodding her head. Josie’s smile widened and slipped off her yellow bracelet and handed it over to the little girl. The girl ran off with a huge smile on her face to show her mom what she got. Josie stood up since she had to crouch down to be eye level with the girl. She glanced around and then spotted him. It wasn’t that hard seeing that he was the only one sitting by himself, texting. A grin slipped on her face as she skipped over to him. She sat down next to him, kissing him on the cheek. Yes, that was her way of greeting anyone when she was excited. She even had kissed Jynx like that and she wasn’t bi or anything. “ Chrissy!” she exclaimed looking at his phone “ How’s your mom?” she teased knowing he was always texting his mom. “ You should just go visit her already!” she reached her hand over and ruffled his hair.. “ ohh you're big momma’s boy” she grinned. He must know that she was just teasing. This was way better being with him then being next to Owen. She figured they should probably go meet up before Jynx and Owen got married or something. “ Come on, let’s go interrupt Jynxie’s & Owen’s make out session” she knew full well that Owen and Jynxie were too shy to admit their feelings, if she was detecting this right.

Let's just go off, and write a love song.
Chris pulled his phone out, and replied to his mother. He knew he was a mamma’s boy. Chris’ mom was always there, and no dad, to get the title ‘He’s just like you.’ Chris didn’t mind to be called that. He was. When Chris saw Josie give the girl her bracelet, he smiled. She was that nice. When Josie came up, and gave him a kiss on the cheek, he smiled at her. “Hey baby cakes.” he said, “My mom is fine.” Chris got up, he brushed his butt off. “Okay, let’s go.” he said, Chris shook his head, then flattened it with his hands. He really didn’t like people touching his hair, but just look at Josie. Who wouldn’t let her touch his hair.
The boy was standing there. “Oh Josie. Will you hold my sunscreen?” he said, pulling his orange, blue, and yellow sunscreen bottle. Chris held it out to Josie, he’ll know she’ll carry it. He was still thinking he looked like an over protected mother. Chris was a little on the safe side about his skin, I mean, keeping it up, for one tattoos, and so he wouldn’t get zitty, and everything. Chris had to keep his face clean for the ladies. ‘Ha. Ladies. You mean Josie.’ Chris laughed to himself, even though Chris was getting a major crush on Josie, he couldn’t really admit to it. He just loved her to much, not to tell her. Chris loved it even more when girls told him that they like him.
“Why should we watch Owen, and Jnyx make out, when you know I’m right here.” he said laughing, hopefully Josie took that as a joke. ‘Cause it was meant to be one. Josie should take the joke, she’s always making jokes about him and his mom. “I was thinking about going to go see my mom.” he said, Chris felt his phone vibrate. Chris pulled it out, then looked at the text, he smiled. He bit his lip, on what to say to his mom. Chris then quickly closed his phone. “What ride are we going to do today?” he asked her. Chris heard about the some of the rides. “We are so going to eat like3 hot dogs, then go on all the rides.” Chris said laughing, “Then see which one of us pukes first.” he finished up. Holding his stomach laughing really hard.
Chris couldn’t stop laughing. Even though he was getting really scared, and weird looks. He stopped laughing for a little. Chris looked at the people walking by. He did the sup face at them. Chris could see himself finding a date like right about now. Or not, he was thinking, of waiting for Josie. Before Josie could get away to go find Owen, and the others. Chris slung his arm around Josie. “Let’s go!” he used his very, very loud voice. Since Chris never used his ‘inside voice’, and he was a screamer anyway. He hung his arm around every girl, or even his date. He was just a really loving guy. Since he was basically always raised by his mom.
The boy just was in a hugging mood, why couldn’t he just kiss Josie, and get over it. Chris wasn’t man enough. Maybe it’s going to be like this for the rest of his life. Scared to ask, or kiss Josie, he just didn’t want the band to feel like awkward with the two dating, and Chris had back up plans, he still had more girls out there, that would die, to be where Josie was right at that moment. But it was just like him to fall for someone close to him, just like Ashley when she was his best girl friend, then ended up dating. Chris love dating Ashley, but he moved on. Being with, and hanging with girls all the time is the best.
Chris was thinking about who else his friends are. He might just want to hit on them. It probably would be fun for Chris, ‘cause he’s always wanted to be a ‘player’, his mom would be terrified, if she caught him with those many girls. She would just kill her. Chris’ mom is just scared about him getting hurt really bad, she just doesn’t want him to turn out like her choices she made. So Chris moved his arm, but he still kept it on Josie’s arm. “Do I get a bracelet?” he asked her, laughing some more, he pointed to Josie’s arm.

OPEN UP YOUR MIND AND SEE LIKE ME, open up your plans and man you're free. _____________________________________ Hearing her phone go off with one of her infamous Spanish ringtones, Jynx smiled sheepishly and noticed it was Owen. Nodding to herself, she quickly texted back, "By the gift store when you first come in, in front of a huge ride." Course, with her and the band, it was always interesting to see how they interacted with each other. First off, there was Josie, the leader and more powerful girl between the two of them. Granted, Josie was a sister to her pretty much, but Jynx always felt like the younger one, even if she herself was like a year older than her. Lips broke into a smile, then there was Owen - her stomach had butterflies - the prankster, and Chris - the flirt. Or man-whore. She preferred flirt, he just needed someone to reign him in, and Josie, Jynxie knew, would most likely be that girl. Grinning to herself at that thought, the blonde brushed back her side-bangs as she and Josie hugged, then kissed each other's cheeks in greeting. She always greeted her like that, a little ritual she'd picked up from Josie, but only did it with her - sort of like - an inside joke to them. She grinned, and sighed softly, enjoying her time she got with her. "We should hang out soon." Jynx spoke, nodding slightly at her comment, yes, that would be fun to hang with her finally. Some girl time together - it was always fun to shop, gossip, share secrets and more.
As Josie spoke, Jynx scoffed, playfully, the glint in her eye as she tossed her hair, as if she were offended, which she wasn't - she could hardly get offended by Josie or Owen for that matter. "Seriously? I do.." she turned her voice to a creepy one, "Every day." she winked, laughing lightly. She fell silent though, when the brunette began to speak once more - out of politeness. Biting her bottom lip, Jynx nodded silently, she wasn't agreeing or anything, oh no, she was Swiss, as what some of the groupies and band members would call her sometimes to mess around, the Swiss girl or something, since she wanted to be neutral in any and all the snipes and fights the band members got into. Looking around, glad she was wearing shorts instead of a skirt, she tensed herself, when she felt Josie stiffen. Then, Josie's words ripped, and Jynx flinched, as if Josie had threatened to hit her. The blonde remained silent, and spoke, "At least you two can make up now...and Chris and I are here." she reassured her, her voice quiet.
Jynx nodded silently as Josie mentioned she was going to find Chris. Literally feeling the tension in the air, if she moved, she felt like she'd make it worse. Remaining there, frozen for a moment as if stuck in time, Jynx turned as Owen approached, and gave him a light smile, as if nothing had happened. "Hi." she greeted him, then inquired, frowning in confusion, "I'm just curious...do I even want to know what happened at the mall?" She knew something major had happened, she just didn't know exactly what. She turned as she heard some people scream when a ride flew down its first major hill. Grimacing slightly, Jynx shook it off and eyed Owen silently, then grinned lightly. Narrowing her eyes, she then pulled on her large sunglasses, and smiled brightly, figuring they should either meet back up with Chris and Josie, and keep Jos from Owen's throat - or - ride out the storm. Pausing slightly, Jynx then suddenly grabbed Owen's wrist, sending sparks up her arm, Jynx walked with him, and hesitated as Josie and Chris came into their vision.
Grinning weakly, Jynx then dropped his arm, blushing heavily, hoping he wouldn't see that, "Sorry...hope I didn't break it." she smiled. Inhaling slowly, she turned as a few people glanced their way, though nothing more. Seeing a few guys look their way, she quickly spun and distracted Owen - hopefully - from them, "How much you want to bet Chris will want to have us eat then go on a ride?" she grinned shyly, then slid off her sunglasses from her nose and placed them on top of her head, knowing she'd probably just either give them to some little girl, or tuck them onto the side of her shorts, or let someone hold onto them while she went on a ride. Tucking her phone into her pocket, she glanced towards her companion, her crush, she'd admitted to Josie when they'd had a nice talk about guys. Hoping Josie wouldn't use that on her now, Jynx groaned inwardly, then realized how random that must have sounded. "Oh...sorry." whispering words of wisdom let it be, let it be, let it be The last hope Owen held of Josie not being too mad at him for coming, or really, being alive in general, was gone at her response to his arrival. He grimaced, looking towards the ground. He was wanting, if nothing else, to just get over the whole mall thing, but Josie didn’t seem to want the same thing. And, shit, now she was accusing Jynx of inviting him. His voice was a bit cold, his comment overlapping with Jynx’s reassuring statement, “God, Josie. I read it on your Twitter.” That was a lie and a hopeful guess at the best – not that he didn’t see Josie Twittering almost constantly – but he really didn’t want Jynx and Josie to start fighting as well, or for Jynx to be mad at him, too. Of course, whether or not she heard either of them, she said something about finding Chris. The drummer sighed, walking over to Jynx as the other girl muttered something before storming off. It really wasn’t like he planned on staying mad at her for a long time, stuff like that could really get in the way of the band. But, again, her acting that way was like her saying he was the father yesterday; it pushed him just off the brink of apologizing, as he had been extremely close to doing.
In a somewhat bemused expression, Owen nodded at Jynx’s greeting. “Hey.” Well, there was really no point in stressing her out about this whole thing, was there? It wasn’t like it was that serious, anyway. Just a little argument between him and Josie, nothing new. Shaking his head lightly at Jynx’s question, he sighed, making his voice as passive as it could be, though he was still annoyed with Josie, “Josie didn’t tell you yet? I got…a bit carried away and said that she was pregnant. She yelled at me, dumped a smoothie on my head and slashed my tires.” He was going to leave out the part about what Josie had said after dumping the smoothie, because that had been fairly spur of the moment, and he really didn’t want to remember that anyway. “All in good fun, of course,” he added on, rolling his eyes. Of course, it had been in good fun up until the point that he announced the false statement that Josie was pregnant. Really it was mostly his fault, if not completely, and he knew it. Stubbornly, though, he was also a bit sick of how immaturely she was handling the whole ordeal. “I really shouldn’t have come, should I?”
Looking over his shoulder at the massive roller coaster behind him, he flinched. There was no way he was riding that. Besides his being near-deathly afraid of heights, Josie would probably try and murder him or something while he was riding. Oh, shit. Did Josie know that he was afraid of heights? It wouldn’t surprise him if she did; he knew about her whole fear of pregnancy, all of that, she knew how much he hated huge crowds. Thinking back on it, she probably did know. No, he was not going on a rollercoaster and embarrassing the hell out of himself in front of Jynx. That would not be good. Contemplating how to get out of this mess with Josie, he almost jumped when he realized Jynx’s hand was on his wrist. Eyes a bit wide, he followed her, face flushing and all. Was she holding his hand, or just trying to get him to stop worrying about Josie, or what? Of course, he doubted that she considered it holding hands. If anything, it was a friendly gesture. Why would she want to hold his hand anyway? They had gotten a few glances already, and Owen’s face only reddened even more when he noticed most people would think they were a couple. Not that that would be…bad…but it wasn’t like Jynx was thinking of it that way. He wasn’t either, he wasn’t stupid, he knew Jynx didn’t think of him like that, but he had to admit that he wouldn’t exactly mind being a couple with her.
So it was no surprise that Owen was more than a bit disappointed when Jynx dropped his arm, quickly, he thought, as if realizing what she had done, apologizing. So it hadn’t meant anything to her, after all. He looked away, not sure what to say, still slightly blushing, only to see Chris and Josie barely in his line of sight. Josie, who had to have seen them. He winced, almost shrinking back a bit. Oh, God. Was she going to use this against him later or what? Even though he didn’t think Jynx had seen him when they were walking, Josie had to have. Oh, God. A bit surprised when Jynx turned around, he snickered at her comment about Chris. “That wouldn’t surprise me.” It really wouldn’t, truthfully. That seemed like something Chris would do. He smiled slightly, glancing away from Jynx, knowing he must look like an idiot. Jynx really did know the band well. Really, she was pretty much part of the band in his mind. She had been there with Josie when he was trying out for the spot, actually, and so, really, she probably knew most of the band as well or better than he did. Not really concentrating, he didn’t noticed what she had apologized for, and looked over, embarrassed. Wanting to say something, he ended up asking, with a slight smirk on his face despite the hint of uncertainty in his voice, “So, what do you want to ride?”

You’ve got a piece of me, & honestly, My life would suck without you …………………
Something strange was happening to Josie. She was actually forgetting about what Owen did at the mall while she was here joking around and flirting with Chris. Nothing seemed to want to bring down her mood. Who knew Chris could be such a distraction from all her problems? In fact she was starting to feel as if she should just skip meeting up with the others and just go ride roller coasters with Chris. She was sure that Chris wouldn’t mind, either would Owen. It was a win-win situation; except for she knew Jynx really wanted her to make things better with Owen. She did feel bad for getting her in the middle, she had told herself earlier that she wasn’t going to do that yet there she went and did it anyway. Yeah she did get a little forgetful when she got extremely mad. Call her a bad friend, call her what you want, she couldn’t make everyone happy. She could try but she wasn’t wonder woman. Being called baby cakes in the past usually just past as normal but ever since her attraction to Chris had grown recently, she thought of it differently. She felt small butterflies flutter and when she realized she was acting like a teenager in high school again she bit her lip. She sent any mushy thoughts down, stomping them until they were crushed. She wasn’t going to fall in love, no. She knew that it wasn’t love yet, it was merely a crush, which she believed was one sided.
Josie wasn’t surprised when Chris asked her to hold his sun screen. He was always asking her to hold his stuff. Why he couldn’t just leave it in his pocket she wasn’t sure. Well she was almost positive it was just an ego issue. He didn’t want others to find him carrying around sun screen. It would be much more logical to find Josie with sunscreen, of course since she was a girl. Right? She looked at his hand that was reached towards her, expecting her to take it. The truth was, how could she deny anything he asked her to do? Well if it was something really nasty, she would be able to but this was just a small easy task. She grasped it from him “ Fine, if I have to” she made it sound like it was a big deal, though it was all acting. She slipped it into her purse while speaking “ Are you too manly to be carrying around a bottle of sun screen?” she knew he needed it because his tattoos would fade if they got too much exposed sunlight rays. She was the complete opposite of him when it came to the sun. He always wore sunscreen while she rarely wore it. She didn’t tan easily so she found if she put none or very weak sunscreen on, she got tan easier. Yes, she burnt sometimes then but it was worth the tan that followed. Skin cancer doctors would yell at her, and she knew that but you only have one life to live so why not live it the way you want without a bunch of people warning you about this or that.
The thought of kissing Chris make her feel like she was going to blush again. She was not going to let that happen again. He got enough satisfaction of seeing her cheeks flush around him. She quickly buried the thought of kissing him so her cheeks didn’t get to the point of blushing. She looked away just in case though. When she had a control over her emotions she looked back to him “Oh you know I want to but there’s simply to much people around. They might get so jealous of our hot make out session they could throw us out of the park” yes she was talking foolish now because they wouldn’t throw the two out if they did. Though she was sure someone would snap a photo and it would be in the news the next couple days. That’s how life worked when you were in a band. It was like the spotlight never left you. She could really care less if they gossiped about her and Chris being together. It’s not like it was going against any laws or rules. She stretched out her legs by going up on her tip toes. She then looked over to him, leave it to him to make a comment about eating something then going on rides. She let out a short laugh “ Okay first off, 1) that’s just nasty and 2) I’d probably puke before I even got to the ride. 3 hot dogs? Now come on!” she grinned. Sometimes she could eat that much if she hadn’t eaten all day or if she was just really hungry but right now, she wasn’t that hungry.
Josie was used to getting looks. If people recognized her they didn’t seem to care about that no staring rule that mothers scolded toddlers for doing. Yes, it was like they were a circus act or something and people loved to watch. No, but this staring was different. It was more because Chris was laughing hard and a lot. She actually started laughing because he was laughing. It was contagious. “ Stop it!” she laughed. She gladly let him slip an arm around her. She leaned into him a bit. If onlookers saw them, they almost looked like a couple. Could they be a couple? Yeah though she wasn’t sure if 1) he even liked her back and 2) if it would make it awkward between the band. They had started walking to where Owen and Jynx were. When he pointed out her now bare arm she looked over to him smiling “ Oh I’ll give you one when we get back to the house cause I know you’ve always wanted to be a pretty little princess” she imagined that game that she had played when she was younger. Chris would definitely be able to pull off that plastic jeweled tiara and clip on earrings.
She looked up and surprisingly enough there was Jynx and Owen. Seeing Owen was one way to ruin her perfectly good mood. Even though she had both Jynx and Chris there to hold her back from strangling Owen, she still was thinking that she could somehow get past them and murder him. She could just knee Chris in the place where no guy wants to be kneed and Jynx was small enough to shove out of the way. Then she would have easy access of Owen. He was weak enough, she could take him down. Wasn’t she just a villain? She blinked, coming out of her daydream. She had reached the two now, Chris’s arm was still around her. She wasn’t sure if it was there just casually anymore or it it was there to hold her in case she bolted forward. She glared at Owen, if looks could kill, Owen would be dead for some time now. It didn’t help that he never really apologized plus his attitude on top of it “ Owen, why are you here? I don’t care if you saw my twitter, you shouldn’t be here.” she said sharply. If Owen wanted to play this way, she was going to play right back. She had now forgotten about Jynx and Chris, who were next to her. She got ready to lunge at Owen if he said anything smart ass like back. Oh, she would beat him up for that and everything he did to her. She would punch him until he had a black eye or maybe a broken tooth, pick your poison. Yes, she was quite a bitch if you got her really pissed off.

Let's write the biggest love song ever.
Chris was smiling at Josie. “Then again, I love trouble.” he placed his cheek by Josie’s cheek. “I have better girls to kiss than you.” he said, Chris moved away from Josie. He stood beside Josie, keeping his arms to himself. Chris places his hands, that were covered in some tattoos. Into the back of his skinny jeans. He always flirted with any girl, he really felt comfortable with. Or some random girl was the best, he’d like to see their expression on their face, when he wrapped their arm around them. He always did it, maybe not. He didn’t like to do it, when he was sick. Chris wasn’t liking being in the theme park, he would rather be somewhere else.
It wasn’t really fun. He only went there to make Josie happy. Basically, to make everyone happy, he just liked seeing people having fun. At least he was out. Chris felt his phone vibrate, he looked over at Josie. It was ringing this time. He pulled it out of his pocket. Chris held it to his ear, talking to his mom. He walked over where it would be a lot quieter. He just really couldn’t hear his mom. She was saying something, about the meet up, and how he forgot. Chris was hoping she wouldn’t call him, it was just that he really didn’t want to meet a stranger. So he decided not to go.
Chris said, his ‘I love you’ and hung his phone up. “Sorry that was..” he’d knew the band members would already know so he gave up on it. He put his phone in his back pocket. He was waiting for everyone to laugh at him, ‘cause he would know by now, his little secret. Well it’s not like their going to kill him, because he dearly loves his mom. He just doesn’t know how to stop loving his mom. Chris was just so dang close to his mom. Why couldn’t he just, love his mom, and not talk to him. Maybe when his friends weren’t around. Chris didn’t feel bad about that his mom loved him. He’d just didn’t know how to take it.
Chris was getting all confused now, being with the band, it made him more happy. He was just didn’t want to be here, he’d rather be at a party with the band. Maybe get drunk together, and have a little fun. But Chris just didn’t want to be that crazy, maybe just kiss a few girls. ‘Ahh.’ the thought of kissing a girl, or doing more. Was a delight to Chris, he just loved his kisses he got from girls, every now and then a guy. He just didn’t know how to stop flirting too. He really needed to stop, even though he loved it. His mom on the other hand. Didn’t like it at all.
Chris’ mom just hated when Chris brought girls, and maybe a few guys home. She just doesn’t know how to make Chris stop to. He was just like his father, his mom would say. Then Chris would blow up at his mom, for leaving him, and never letting his son meet his dad. Even though he got mad at his mom, he always came back to her to talk about it. He just couldn’t let her go, or just walk out on her. He was the only son she really had. But he always got under her skin, and the same to him. He just couldn’t do anything without his mom.
Chris walked back beside Josie, from taking a little flash back he had. When he was standing back beside Josie, his skin was feeling all rough. “Josie, can I have my sun screen?” Chris asked Josie, he took his hands out of his pockets. He put his hand out for Josie, to give him his sun screen. Chris had to keep his skin up, so his tattoos wouldn’t get all messed up. And he really wouldn’t want that. Since he loved his tattoos. He was thinking about getting another one, but he didn’t know what. But if he was going to get one, he was going to think it through. He stood there waiting for Josie to give him his sun screen.

OPEN UP YOUR MIND AND SEE LIKE ME, open up your plans and man you're free. _____________________________________ The others were away - which was really nice since Josie and Owen weren't on the best of terms. She had anticipated they would be, since they usually got over things pretty quickly. Appearantly not this time. Grimacing slightly, Jynx looked to Owen, mostly surprised they hadn't gotten over it - what did they do to each other at the mall? Her mind wandered, pondering over what could happen - almost anything really, Owen get Josie in trouble with security, or Josie throwing Owen into a dressing room with a half-naked man or woman. Seeing that, she arched an eyebrow to herself, she definitely wouldn't like it if Owen stayed in there with a girl - but wait - why would he? He wasn't like that as far as she knew him. Turning to Owen when he spoke, she narrowed her eyes at him, though allowed a playful grin to spread across her features, before it faded when he told her exactly what had happened. Wait - slashed his tired? Wide-eyed, her jaw dropped and Jynx murmured, "Oh my gosh...I'm sorry Owen, that had to suck." She sympathized gently with him, her usual thing she did.
"Ummm...I don't know. I had thought you two were over it...." her voice faltered, and guilt washed over the blonde and her head dropped slightly. As they remained near a little shop, Jynx tilted her head and straightened her already tall frame to try and peer over the heads of the hordes of people to spot Josie and Chris coming their way. Pushing her sunglasses back up onto her nose, she scowled at them, she knew she'd need to get a new pair of them sooner or later. Well - she hated her height, she was taller than Josie by an inch or so, then Owen and the guys were - thankfully - taller than her. Everyone's height was unique though, like she knew a girl who was 5'5", and could pack a punch if she wanted or needed to for that matter. Amusement filtered onto her features at this, she was amused sometimes by others' antics, like Owen's little mannerisms he did. The way he brushed his hair - god. Or how they always made her smile, and suddenly, the butterflies reappeared in her stomach. Quickly, she smothered them with logic, he'd never like her like that - would he? Josie certainly seemed to think there was a lot more going on between these two than anyone in the band it seemed. Jynx just didn't want to add onto the stress and tension already in the band with Josie and Owen, not to mention the possibility of losing Josie or Owen.
The other two approached them, and Jynx felt a very strong protectiveness flow through her veins as she noticed the silent glare Josie was giving Owen. For his sake, she casually stepped up beside him, which therefore, put her in-between him and Josie. Innocently brushing her hair back behind her shoulders, and gave Josie one of her extremely rare 'Don't-even-think-about-it' looks, the looks which Josie and Owen only saw her do when she felt secure enough to actually do it. Situating herself, Jynx then looked to Chris, and smiled weakly in a silent greeting, before she then spoke, "Hey, Chris." At Owen's inquiry though, she paused, and spied a roller coaster than didn't have any spirals nearby. She lifted her hand and pointed to it, "That." she simply stated, smiling innocently towards the others, she and Owen - she knew would both be able to handle that one easily, but both of them. Jynx eyed Chris as he asked for his sun screen, and smiled silently to herself, glancing towards his tattoos. She didn't think she'd ever get one. Granted, it was very tempting, but she only had piercings, two piercings in both of her ears. Tattoos, she heard, would probably hurt too much.
Eying them curiously, she inquired, "Getting any new tattoos soon, Chris?" she raised both brows lightly, before falling into place beside Owen - where she usually was, while Josie and Chris were usually together when it was just the four of them. Feeling slightly out of place - she always did somewhat with most of the band - unless it was her, Josie and Owen, but suddenly, she felt like she didn't belong. Swallowing her insecurity - a blasted thing she'd have to get rid of soon, Jynx sighed as her phone rang with a text from her mom in California, with her now-husband, Patrick Harper, a politician, "Hi there, Hope." God - she hated when she called her by one of her middle names, "Look, I know you don't want to come to our wedding, but would you please try and make it?" She scowled and didn't reply, tucking her phone back into her pocket, before looking to Owen, curious to see what he wanted to ride, before looking to the others, debating on what they would ride first - it really didn't matter much to her.

whispering words of wisdom let it be, let it be, let it be Turning to Jynx at her reply, Owen nodded slightly, “Yeah, it did. It was my fault, though, I guess.” There wasn’t any point in saying anything otherwise; he had a bad feeling Josie would set the record straight when the four met up. Shit, he was not looking forward to that in the least. Jynx’s answer was a bit unnerving. So Josie really hadn’t told her much, had she? That wasn’t good, since he knew Jynx was almost always the first person that Josie told pretty much anything. She’d have to be pretty pissed if she didn’t even tell Jynx. “God, no. I wish, but Josie…she’s still…mad…” Glancing over to Jynx at the change in her voice, he sighed quietly. He knew what she would be doing, somehow blaming herself for a part of this, even though that wasn’t true at all. Trying to sound reassuring, he gave a grin, “Hey, it’s not your fault, Jay. Just mine and Josie’s.” He didn’t even know how she had managed to make any of this seem like it was because of her, though it clearly wasn’t, as cute as the habit of hers was. Damn it, he had to stop thinking like that. He knew that eventually she would find out, of course, or he would probably hate himself for the rest of his life, but he didn’t want it slipping out any time soon that he had the most pathetic crush on her. No, he was too much of a coward to tell her. It could ruin their friendship, and where would that leave him? Stuck on the depressing island with Josie. God, he would probably jump off a cliff if that happened. Well, not really, but he still couldn’t imagine living on this island without Jynx. It would be torture, really.
He looked to Jynx again, embarrassed that he had thought that when they were both together like this, and glanced away. It was the truth, though. Chris and Josie were in front of them now, and Josie was giving him what was possibly her scariest glare ever. He wouldn’t even be surprised if she tried to attack him or something now, as horrible as that sounded. Cringing at her question, he looked back to her, forcing his voice to be as cold and passive as was possible, “I…I was hoping you would have gotten over it by now, Josie.” No, he wouldn’t apologize to her. Maybe it had been his fault, but she was treating this situation like a high schooler. Honestly, he wanted to tell her to grow up, but with Jynx standing there, he wouldn’t. Even though Josie would obviously not mind murdering him in front of Jynx, he had a bit more self-control than that. And, God. Couldn’t Josie just freaking get over it? She had done enough to get even with him already, why wasn’t that enough for her? It was getting harder to tell that the two were friends, and Owen winced slightly. Damnit, they were friends. Josie just didn’t seem to care. Then again, they had a weird friendship. It usually consisted of him doing stupid shit to her, and her beating the hell out of him sometime later. Still, she was being so juvenile about this.
Nearly smiling at Jynx’s attempt to break what would likely soon be a fight between the two up, he let out a soft sigh, unconsciously shifting a step back. “Ah, yeah, hey, Chris.” Following Jynx’s motion to a smaller rollercoaster, he nodded. Yeah, it was still a rollercoaster, but it wasn’t that bad. He’d probably find a way to make a fool out of himself anyway, of course. He always did. He doubted Josie and Chris would be satisfied with riding a tiny rollercoaster like that. He had a feeling that they would want to go to the huge one behind the four, and he would have to be dragged the whole way if they wanted him to get on it. Unfortunately, with Chris and Josie both working together, he hoped Jynx wouldn’t, he knew they’d be able to do so. Yeah, he was kind of weak, damnit. Josie always seemed to try to take advantage of that when she was mad. She usually succeeded, though, as sad is it was.
Owen almost grinned at Jynx’s fairly obvious attempt at small talk. She was sweet, he knew, for trying to make him and Josie get over this, but he doubted it was helping Josie any. As for him…well, he would probably apologize and hug Josie if Jynx asked him to. And he would sure as hell never do that on his own free will. At least not when Josie was probably holding a knife somewhere in her purse, after all, how had she slashed his tires yesterday so easily? That wasn’t a good thing to dwell on, and he found himself desperate for something else to think about. Jynx’s phone rang, and he instinctively glanced over to her. She hadn’t looked at the phone too long before she frowned and replaced her phone into her pocket. Doing the only thing he could think of to hopefully take his mind off of the ever-rising tension from nearly the whole band at this point, he raised his eyebrows slightly before softly asking, “You okay, Jay?”

Legally when you turn 18, you become an adult. This is the time when most kids graduate high school and move to college campuses, train for the army, or go straight to work. It’s also a maturity jump from having your parents pay for necessities like food, taxes for heat/electricity, and whatever else you need to having to pay for practically everything. Sure most teens are ready for this jump. They want to get out of the house and live on their own without having to rely on their parents. Josie had been one of those that wanted to get away as soon as she could. Sure, joining a band wasn’t exactly what all her family had in mind for her to do but she wasn’t going to have to live up to people’s expectations. She wanted to live her own life, nobody elses. In some interviews people would ask her if she missed not going to college and experiencing the whole campus life but she always told those press people that she was having the time of her life right now and what could be better than playing music and partying for a living. It was the best life you could have in her opinion. She also got to hang around her band mates everyday and even though they drove her crazy most of the time, she still loved them all to pieces and couldn’t live without them. She couldn’t even count how many great memories that they had together.
Yet, no matter how much she loved Owen, he really needed to know when he was going to far in his pranks. Everyone obviously wanted them to kiss and make up, obviously not literally. Yeah she might be acting like a high schooler again but at least she wasn’t starting rumors like being pregnant. She could always tell every press that she saw that he was gay and point out his style or clothing or the way he walks or something to prove it. She was a very convincing person so she knew that she could make any person believe her. Well, most of the time anyway. “ Gotten over it?!” she spoke up her voice cold as ice. “ How the hell can I get over it when people are asking me if I’m pregnant now?! Maybe I’ll just broadcast to everyone that you’re gay. Then let’s see how you like it, or maybe I can just say that you impregnated a girl and you’re trying to hide it cause you don’t want anyone to know. That would be fair wouldn’t it Owen?” she said his name like it was a disease. God, why couldn’t he be more like Chris? Sure Chris did pranks on her sometimes but they were never as damaging as Owen’s were. She turned her attention back to Chris. She was going to ignore Owen. She didn’t want him to think that she was giving in at all. No, she wouldn’t be the one to break down and apologize first. It was all his fault so he would have to say sorry first. She rummaged through her purse and grabbed the small sunscreen bottle for Chris.
When he had placed his cheek next to hers she was going to kiss it but that was before he spoke. She shoved him away playfully when he said that he had better girls to kiss. “ And I have better guys to kiss than you. Like that guy. Ohh he’s yummy” she pointed to a tan jock looking guy. He wasn’t really her type but he was the closest good looking male. She was only teasing him of course, it’s not like she would actually go over and kiss that guy. She glanced over everyone, Chris, Jynx, and Owen. She noticed that Owen and Jynx were standing a little close together, yeah she knew they liked each other. How does she know? She hung around them both enough to have heard their swoonings over the other. She would call it pathetic if they weren’t so cute together. How anyone could even think about kissing Owen, was beyond her. Sure she might’ve kissed him on the cheek but only as friends. It was like people over in Spain, that’s how the girls greet people. Some people call her weird for doing it but it’s just how she was.
She sighed adjusting her purse on her shoulder while observing the nearby roller coasters. The one in front of them was small in her point of view. Sure it did a few dips but come on! It was so lame, it shouldn’t even be considered a roller coaster. She then saw one that went straight up and dropped straight down. She made a mental note to go on that one. She then turned to look at the one behind them. If she didn’t believe in love at first sight before, well she does now. There was a huge climb before the coaster dropped straight down for quite some time then there were some corkscrew like areas and some upside down part. Then to add on there was a part where the coaster went underground, probably where they snapped a photo of some sort. She was ogling for some time at this roller coaster. She then looked at the group with a grin on her face. “ Come on, this one’s just calling our names” she started walking. She knew Chris would be following but Jynx and Owen didn’t like roller coasters so they probably would protest. She wasn’t in the mood for begging/dragging them to come, well mostly Owen. She would rather if he didn’t go actually. “ I know someone’s too big of a wimp and might pee his pants if he goes on this ride. So have fun on the little kiddy coaster over there” she stood in line which wasn’t long for some reason. When they got to the front she walked to the very front cart. She always liked riding in front because you could see all the huge drops before everyone else. She sat down expecting Chris to sit with her, after all she would kill herself if she had to ride the whole coaster next to Owen.

Close your eyes, pray for plagues.
Chris cover his mouth. He tattoos were everywhere on the top of his body. You could see the word Drop when he covered his mouth. He was a guy who loved tattoos. More than anything. Well maybe Josie was in the picture, but that was beside the point. He loved them. Just look at how many he had. Almost his chest up had tattoos. He liked them. Like the first few were pains, the rest was fine. Well he grown to getting used to them. ‘Josie wouldn’t kiss that guy.’ he thought to himself. Really he was kind of ugly, and not, or Chris thought, was in her ‘taste’. Some girls were extremely picky. Well, he think Josie isn’t, but she’s not dating Owen. ‘I’d thought they’d get over that and then go out. Erhm I guess they’re still in high school.’ Chris did really hate everyday of high school. He was somewhat of a nerd, and got shoved into lockers. Then most people now would want to be where he is. Chris just had the talent.
He knew Josie would want to ride a roller coaster. He personally thought they were the best things. Well some people got sick on them, some couldn’t take the spins, some just couldn’t handle the height. Chris liked, or loved them. He didn’t just ride one, he would want to eat then ride. He thought that was like a guy, or not. Well he was raised different, so he wished he at least had a step dad. Or something, to learn more like guys. “Owen would pee his pants?” he asked Josie. ‘Oh wow.. He needed to really toughen up some. He’s probably an inner chick kind of guy. Ha.’ he thought to himself. He couldn’t believe that Owen didn’t like roller coasters. It was kind of sad. Then again, a lot of people didn’t like roller coasters. On the other hand, he really did need someone to have to ride roller coasters with. It was just perfect for Josie. There was probably more they had in common. They just haven’t really talked about it.
He was really thinking about it. Chris didn’t really know to much about Josie. Since they started dating, he really should get to know her more. He really wanted to date Josie, she was really pretty to him. He’d never really felt like that before. The most of the girls he’s dated were just a little kiss. Chris just really didn’t know how to keep a relationship to well. He flipped back from the little flash back he had. When you really look at Josie, she is actually his type. There was a lot of girls, probably, wanting to go out with him. He’d knew there was. There were a lot of stalkers too. By the time he’d had a new girl, his mom even knew. He was a little scared when his mom finds out. Well, who wants their kid to be a whore. Or anything relating to that. He’d never really want his mom to know, or if anyone else found out it was fine. His mom really didn’t need to know, but if it was serious he normally told her.
Really Chris didn’t want his mom to know a lot. He’d really just needed to not text his mom at all. He’d wants to, but having the label ‘Mamma’s boy’ was a little scary for him. Since he looked like he would beat someone up. It’s just he really loved her to much. Well most people aren’t sitting there texting his mom. Before he could say, or do anything, he decided to turn his phone off. He pulled it out of his back pocket. ‘Thank lord.’ he saw there was a new text. He couldn’t really just say his phone was off, ‘cause he really saw it. Well today Chris changed. He turned his phone off. Then put it back in his pocket. He could tell Josie was eyeing the roller coasters. He really couldn’t wait. Chris was like a little kid in a candy shop.
He walked with Josie to a roller coaster. It looked like a fun one, just being with Josie was a roller coaster. Did you not see when she kind of bit at Owen? ‘Wow, I don’t think I’m going to make her mad at me.’ he thought to himself. He laughed to himself, a little. Chris stood in the line with Josie for a little, he put his hands in his back pocket. The line wasn’t that long, surprisingly. Finally it was their turn to go onto the roller coaster. Josie looked like she was wanting to really ride one, she walked pretty fast. He’d watched her sit down. He was thinking about sitting next to her. But, yeah. He walked over to the coaster thinger He gave her a quick smile. He sat in the second seat behind Josie. Then looked forward, he started to think again. ‘You. Chris are going crazy.’ he thought to himself.
