hey there! wanna have some fun?
just jump jump jump and take a run!
Will was startled when Mandy appeared in front of him. He hadn’t even noticed the pink haired girl approach him; he should really work on paying attention more. It was becoming a bit of a problem. He grinned as he herd her exclamation; glad that she was just as stoked about the next ride as he was. He was just about to explain to her that, despite popular belief, merry-go-rounds and carousels were completely different rides when she turned away form him, took a hold of some girls hand and walked off. He wasn’t sure what to do then. Should he say something or should he wait until Mandy figured it out. He kind of felt like a little kid whose parent had picked up the wrong child. It had happened before and Will had lost his mother at a theme park once. He was pretty sure there as video footage of that. Maybe he should ask his mother about it. He was pretty sure she would tell him what all had went down. She was awesome like that.
Though, it would seem he wouldn’t have to step in because Mandy caught her mistake and the girl wondered off back to he friends. He was actually surprised that he girl hadn’t started screaming bloody murder. It wasn’t everyday after all that you were led away form your friend by a giggling, wild and pink haired girl in a theme park. Though, it would be an amazingly cool story to tell your kids when you had them. He snapped back to attention as Mandy called out to him. He hurried over to her, tripping a little over a crack in the otherwise pristine concrete, but he managed to keep himself upright and not falling. “Alright, coming coming! Don’t leave without me!” he said as he stood next to her. He noticed her red face and wondered if it was from the ride or from her little mishap a few moments ago. He decided it didn’t really matter at this time.
He hooked his arm through Mandy’s, which was a bit difficult since he had quite a few inches on the drummer girl, but he managed to make it work. “Let’s go! Before the rides all booked,” he said, gently tugging her along, making sure she didn’t fall. He knew that even though he was really skinny and not very muscular, he could get a little carried away when he was excited. Just talk to either of his siblings who had been subjected to a bony elbow or two during periods of extreme excitement in the Barnes household. “Because, as you know, those little kids always bum rush the ride at the earliest moment and I want to get a good spot,” he said. He knew all too well the sheer viciousness of little children and their overbearing ad aggressive mothers.
Being in a band had made him experience that first hand. It was quite amazing what parents would do to get their teenage sons and daughters tickets to their favorite bands. Even though they weren’t that big yet, Will had still seen some pretty drastic things. Not to say the kids weren’t dangerous either because they really were, especially at shows and not eh small acoustic ones, but the large ones at big summer festivals and such. They started moshpits where kids got the crap beaten out of them and then they fought and pushed there was to the front even though they couldn’t get that close to the band because of the barricades and security. He still remembered one time when a fan managed to get on the stage and ran around for a moment before launching himself into the crowd from Will’s monitor. It was kind of fun until Will remembered the unpleasantness stage diving and crowd surfing had.
